Any ideas on design etc would be appreciated.
I'm suggesting producing a custom-made medal unique to our league. If you get the Mail Medal as well, all well and good, but you should have a medal unique to your league IMO.

Great idea OS, the APFL should introduce a seperate medal for the Association Best and Fairest and name it after an APFL legend. The BL&G present a Schluter Medal to the Best and Fairest winner, it was a former known as the Linke medal which was named after the Nuri legend. Another good idea which the BL&G has introduced in recent years is the Hurn medal for the best player in the A-Grade Grand Final, similar to the Norm Smith in the AFL and the Jack Oatey in the SANFL. The medal is named after the Hurn Family who have played a big part in Barossa footy over the years. I believe West Coast's and former Angaston junior Shannon Hurn presented the Hurn medal to Tanunda's Sam Agars after last years Grand Final between Tanunda and Barossa Districts.

Denengelse, Joss Pending 18/02/11
James, Chris Pending 18/02/11
Russel, Ben Pending 18/02/11
Solomon, Shaun Pending 18/02/11

What happened to SMithfield FC?

Denengelse, Joss Pending 18/02/11 Was the coach up until 2 weeks ago. Good player, originally from Salis Nth
James, Chris Pending 18/02/11 Young ruckman training at Central's I believe?
Russel, Ben Pending 18/02/11 I think came to Smithfield from Central United in 2010

Smithfield has pulled out of Div 5 and 5R in SAAFL. they may not have a team at all.
Joss is a very good player, very quick.
Chris is a very promising young ruckman, played with him and has talent.
Dont know much about ben russel, but have heard good things, is ashame smithfield has lost these players along with the rst over the last 4 years.

Yes, day before cricket GF. Personally, not concerned. I'll play both if picked in the Cricket GF side (and if we make it)

Is that a direct result of the improvement from neighbours Eastern Park (into Div 1) and Elizabeth (into Div 4). Have players moved to these clubs?
