Would have thought most coaches will now be playing coaches with the loop hole of only paying $300 in the salary cap. Especially if as was said the cap is reduced to $3500 from this seasons $4000.

He was talking about another shot at SANFL level (with the Crows?) last I heard.

Also, a former Kilburn coach has applied for the job at South (rumour has it).

Don't think he can go to the crows reserves team as there affiliated with the AFL in some way think he was in contact with Paul Thomas but I maybe wrong . Don't think he will be leaving Williston I heard on the grape vine there will be a better offer on table for him next year to stay.

Pretty sure they have to be 2 years out of the AFL/SANFL system before the Crows can sign them

I think we can safely blame Tanunda and Barossa, reckon the last time they played a minor final one goal won it and there wasnt a blade of green grass to be seen at Angaston. Id expect the same Saturday but without the rain on the day, it may lift the scoring to 3-2

The 15s and 17s will get to play on grass albeit soggy grass, but the magoos and seniors unfortunately might get a bit muddy.

Agreed. The Willaston folks really ran the day well.

In the A Grade, Barossa Districts got the jump on Gawler Central, and the Tigers were playing catch-up for the remainder of the game.

Does anyone know what happened up at the netball courts? I saw a couple of ambulances up there at the end of the footy.

Apparently someone had a heart attack up near the netball courts. We had left after the presentation which was about 5-10 minutes beforehand by the sounds of it.
Didn't see a lot of the footy yesterday but hats off to Barossa

So...the slow starts finally caught up with Central?
A disappointing way to end the season for them.
Where to for the Tiges from here?
And can the Dogs keep a hold of their players?

Congrats to Pratty on a third-straight flag in the ressies. Certainly put that shock 2013 loss out of the memory bank now.

Heard at the Grand Final the Donnybrooks have already signed up to 4 new players for next year including on ballers, so maybe the rumour is true.
And a couple of them worked in the bar for them on Grand Final Day.

Gawler Central been pissing on War Memorials in Freeling on Mad Monday? Apparently the Pres of the Association knows about it, will be interesting to see if they show any balls.
Just following the coaches and an ex favourite sons lead ;)
