Are you just looking for results, best players and goal kickers? Because countryfooty.com.au goes alright. Not sure how quickly the scores get put up there each weekend though?

A week behind what? Do you want scores from the future? Also, as for sportingpulse, seems to work fine for me. Are you still on dial-up?

Ace of Spades wrote:Yep peanut. Two blokes from United thinking they're in the team already? peanuts too. The only good players i can think of at united arent that cocky. Mean while who cares, and if a player needs to be paid to play association (which they dont as they are required to play if selected, in the APFL) they aren't the type of player i'd suggest should be representing us at that level. Playing Association should be a previlage, with players selected on form not name (ie Burgoyne last year).

Exactly Ace. Unless Darth Vader is Mick Lamont, Im pretty certain he wasn't there at all. As for Association football and which league wins, honestly, I couldn't care less. Be a different story if I was playing but, I have the ability to book the June long weekend away and I know I won't be penalised for it.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Thats interesting, I was told TW couldnt have a trial when we had a bye first game due to the season starting.

Round 3 tips
H/W Eagles to defeat Mallala 1-39, Hummocks have started in a purple patch this year and will continue with a good win against Mallala who are only coasting until after the Easter Weekend when they will be back to their brilliant selfs
Hamley to defeat Balaklava 1-39, Balak to take Hamley lightly and the bombers will be dissappointed with their loss last week so Sponge will have belted them on the track this week and I can see an upset happening. I am also looking forward to seeing Onsong in action.
Two Wells will just defeat United 1-39, this game could go either way depending on whether both Burgoyne and the CHF from NT play for United. Although I think TW's run will cause problems for united and that will see them get across the line.

Virginia to lose all points that they currently have (if they have any) or fined for playing a trial match during the proper season. AKA I would suggest that the club approaches the league to clarify as teams that have had the bye in round 1 have not been permitted to play trials I can't see why this is any different.

I've never heard of a club playing a trial on a bye. Phenomenal stuff.
As for seeing me in action UTP, wait until about 11pm Sat night, I'll leave the window open ;)
I agree with your concerns for a potential upset on the cards too. I know we've spoken about not underestimating Hamley but with the way we went in against Hummocks, I've still got my concerns.

Someone mentioned on here the other day about stats in the Informer, is there anything anyone wants to see specifically in there?
I suggested page 3 girls, where we print the handful of pics taken each week of netballers with their skirts up, but the idea lapsed. :(

It only had scores from round 1 mate, I'm on a pretty speedy internet connection, it loads 95% of the way and then just stops for the sportingpulse site.
