Can understand family members being distressed however to quote them so close to the event and then put clubs like Waikerie and Birdwood on the spot about their knowledge of concussions is absolute terrible journalism. I can completely understand professional AFL clubs being put in to the spotlight because of their intimate knowledge of medical health records, however grassroots volunteers are a completely different story. Feel for the footy clubs involved in this scenario as there will be a fair bit of trauma to deal with….

It does raise a question in terrible circumstances.
Is community level keeping up?
Are the medical people (trainers) getting adequate training provided by the AFL...free?

TV giving Kangy a fright round 1
Maccy level with the $1.40 flag favourites meadows at 3/4 time.
Kersbrook only managed 2 goals for the whole game
Have TV and Maccy have improved significantly, or Meadows and Kangy aren't that good?

Short odds on a Meadows v Gumeracha GF at this early stage.
Great to see TV knock off Kerbrook quite comfortably. Hopefully the recruits stick around for the season, unlike prior years

Meadows appear to have recruited a couple of very handy players

Hmm yeah just read that on Facebook. Surely they can pull together one team?
