I will still put my tips in but that is all from me.

That's a bloody joke. Whoever complained, get a bloody life. I wouldn't let it get ya norm, kick on mate

Sorry I know I'm going to cop a lot of **** about this but are we really for helping our kids? Sure they are the best sides in the comp but come on.

Is this what you are referring to Norm? Surely you didn't come under fire for that! If it makes you feel any better the kids we had that missed out felt the same way.

mc,one player from there was choosen to play but decided not to,the same family has also decided not to allow his brother to try for 17s,the emergency players that went up ended up playing as whitty rotated everyone,it just pisses me off that people complain but wont help at trainings or game day,i didnt have to do what i have done for 9 yrs but at least i give my time on a weekend to help the juniors, some stand there and cant even carry water out to them at training.

Correct, he didn't go. He was picked as an emergency from what I understand. I wouldn't go if I was only an emergency either. Good on him for playing the emergencies in the end, but surely an emergency has no obligation to travel in the event that someone might get injured.

LMAO. You're kidding right? You want some coverage for junior footy, send the stuff in. Simple as that. Or would you rather I just guess the team? It's like having a busted light and blaming the electrician for not coming to fix it without telling him. The attitude of some ppl, seriously.

No offence, but I actually agree with magpie to an extent. It has been known for 3 months what the date the 15's would be playing. A phone call or 2 and I'm sure the paper would have got sent to them Best Players, and probably even a photo of the side.

PS: Great article on Tyny. Brilliant effort for her to make the State side.

Glad you knew. Again, Maggies knows exactly how to get stuff in the paper. The tiser won't ring the league for the weekends scores, why should we? Look at hockey for example, sends in pics and match reports each week. If people want assured coverage of ther various sporting pursuits, outside of the excellent coverage already provided, take the initiative. Don't just assume the paper will be onto it. Simple. Would have been more than happy to publish a team photo and scores. Still can.
