The auction raisied over $4000 with funds going towards umpire development and charity. The highlight of the evening was the guest speakers in Central District's twins Chris and James Gowans who had the large crowd in stiches with tales of their childhood right through to their glory days at the doggies. Well done to all involved.

Wow Foggy made a post! That goal you kicked has given you a new lease of life

The fallout from last night:

Both coaches' cases were thrown out by the tribunal on a technicality, that being the reporting umpire failed to inform the coaches they were reported.
It doesn't end there though, with both clubs to face the board of directors tonight at a special hearing at the Mallala institute to find out exactly what happened.
The clubs will be facing potential fines. Two Wells can be especially nervous, with a suspended sentence still lingering over the club from last year.

To find out what happened? With what? I think they found out last night with their inquiry of the 2 coaches.

Nah don't reckon the Roosters would be nervous, the suspended sentence was hovering last season, not this season. Nothing to answer at all I would think from either side.

Balaklava 40+: Expecting Hamley to come out hard. Hopefully we're ready for them.
Virginia 40+: Mills out, couple back in for the Rams I would say, might be a long day at Long Plains
Mallala 40+: Should bounce back after being disappointing last week.

Have you heard what was the official reason for the fines Onsong? Having a half time rumble? No reports from the game so I wonder what was the leagues reasoning?

Do you have a hotline to the league Onsong? How do you get this information before the clubs involved? I would have thought the leagues first priority in these cases would be to inform the clubs, once that is done inform other interested parties, such as the Producer.
