This week's winners

Hamley Bridge v Virginia (over 40 points)
Two Wells v Hummocks-Watchman Eagles (1 - 39 points)

Big day for the Two Wells Football club tomorrow as the Rooster celebrate their centenary. The A-grade will be wearing our new jumper for the first time which looks fantastic. With the Cententary Dinner to be held at the Community Club tomorrow night it will great to get many past players and supporters back to the Club. Go you Roosters.

Would be gold to watch if we could get this sort of action on our netball courts!

Great night held at the Two Wells Community Club last night to celebrate Two Wells Football Club's Centenary. It was great to have so many champions of the Roosters in same room at one time. John Dawkins did a great job as MC and was a very proud man after his long involvement with the Roosters. The highlight of the night was listening to club legends on the couch such as Maurie Francou, Geoff 'Scoffa' Davies and Tony Burne reminisce on Two Wells glory years in the 70's and 80's. Nights like these make you proud to be involved with the Two Wells Football Club. Lets hope it not too much longer before Two Wells can get back to the top of the mountain and create some more history of the Two Wells Football Club.

You blokes have definately been in some close ones this year, would have been interesting to see if Two wells won those games.

While on this they had a 2001 Grand Final Barracker amonsgt the scrapbooks and had a good look at it. That GF was between HWE and Balak and found it interesting that the only players left from Balak in the current A grade squad that played that day where the Lamond boys and Justin Walker while Hummocks had quite a few in Ciccollea, Young, Sharpe cant remember the others atm. It was good to see that from the Junior Colts GF that day between TW and Hamley has quite a few running around in the A's today. I counted 6 Hamley players and about 12 TW players that make up todays A grade teams!

14 goals 7 MH not sure who the bloke was but he stood him all day, Big Brendo had a day out. I found myself just watching Brendo take grab after grab. Felt a bit sorry for the fullback it was getting a bit ugly at times.

Of our team on the weekend, five were over 23. I think there was something like 15 of the 21 who had played colts together at one stage or another. Phenomenal stuff.

A perfect round of six points was picked by three posters this week, with wangas#4, Woofa and league leader UNDERthePACK nailing the results of round 14. Only five rounds remain for the rest of the year, UNDERthePACK now two points clear of Hazbeen and Swamp Donkey, who sit in equal second but lead the cash comp by a break of four points over OnSong and six points from Ace Of Spades, who notched a solid five point round. The Two Wells game really killed a few posters who tipped the Roosters. Damn it.

Time for some small talk, we've gone well past the half way mark, who is your pick for....

1) Producer Medal?

2) Minor premiers?

3) The fourth spot?

That would be nice! We only had 9 senior colters Saturday so we had to play 5 from the Junior colts (who are bottom on the ladder) just to make up to 14 players to make an official game. Seriously think we would be better off forfeiting and having a scratchy as it would save my 12 year old junior colters from getting beaten up by 17 year olds who think that makes them look tough!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
