So, in your opinion, Hamley would be better off without Burgess?
Got a good feeling the term 'couple' is a little misguided when referring to 7.
If you kick 7 goals from 7 kicks does that not mean you are accurate and making the most of your opportunities?
would rather have a forward that kicks 7-0 from 7 kicks than 3-4 or something like that.
THAT is where he wins games and has influence, in maximising potential return from kicks.
Hence, he should feature in the best players.
Also, football needs the occassional Fop that celebrates their goals, brings spectators to games and brings out their passions, from both sides.
The game is better for having Barry Burgess in it.
The only reason I bring it up every week is because it happens every week!

Definately not, I'm sure he is a great aquisition to Hamley......

Look I don't pick Hamley's best players.. but if the coach doesn't have him in the best for kicking 7 there are clearly other major issues in his game that the coach isn't happy with, because thats a very handy return. Enough said. To be honest I really could care less, just sick of reading about the issue on here. PM norm11, I'm sure he can tell you what going on.

And I thought daysofourlives had the FullOf5h1t medal wrapped up, don't know if you are a Hamley person or not UtP, but I have never read anything on here where Hounds plays the man - that seems to be you dip sticks only.

What disappoints me about FWits like you passing personal comments after a Hamley win is the poor light it puts on the Hamley club. I know quite a few Hamley people who are working hard to get the Bombers back on track and I hope they pull your head in. If not, have to courage to put yourself out there for all to know who you are, then we can see if you have "no right bagging or passing comment on any other players" - your words dipstick.[/quote]

Jumbo, I will put my hand up and say that I went a little over the top with my remarks to MH. I was honestly just throwing it out there as bait as I know MH does bite, no malice really intended just trying to be a smart arse. One thing I have learnt is that it maybe wise to stay away from the keyboard after a few amber fluids on a Saturday afternoon.

In regards to your last line I am on top of the tipping table so does say I know a little bit about football :D

Balak just too good. Wonder how much they will hurt with Brice injured. Looked like a knee or ankle injury. Might just be back for finals.

Hamley hirachy would be worried i reckon with top 6 best player in paper costing $3k per week plus other players. No locals in there at all. Gotta question how long a club can keep those big payments up long term. Seen it all before with them and might soon be another big crash. BOOM!

Look, I know that most of you know some of the identities and some of you know most of the identities, but the blanket rule is there to ensure that people can still somewhat control their anonymity at their personal discretion. Play on.

I didnt see what happeened, but just because some people know who is who, doesn't mean that everyone does. Besides, I find stuff that people have written that I don't know who they are more interesting, perhaps because it is more mysterious than knowing the person that wrote it.

Anyway, tips are..............
United 1-39
Balak 40+
Hamley 1-39 (only cause it would suit us better)
:D

Also, this week sees the United Football Club launch our first ever "Call to Emergency Services" day. Both us and the Mallala Football Club will wear green armbands in a bid to raise money for the Mallala Ambulance service. 100% of all money raised will go directly to the Mallala branch of the SAS, for them to use as they see fit with their aim to purchase GPS units to make their jobs easier to do. We are doing this instead of call to arms as obviously a fair percentage (70%) gets tied up in admin/other, and we feel that by doing this instead of call to arms all moneys raised by our community will stay in the community which we will all at some stage need the services of.

The Ambulance will be at the footy most of the day (unless they get called to an emergency) with officers shaking the tin for donations. They will also be using the fundraiser looking for new recruits, so please chat to them if interested.

Please give generously to this very worthy cause, I know I will. :D :D
