What are you going to be doing with a megaphone? Singing the national anthem?

Not sure, but Two Wells definately did yesterday. No BBQ, Hot Dogs, Pies/pasties, potato crisps after about 3pm.

More about the little things at Virginia like only having one lady in the canteen, so when you ask for a drink she has to get up and go around the corner to get it, then give you the change. Put a lineup of ten people and it does take a while to get through with just the one person.

Shambles I was more talking about earlier in the year when the JC game couldnt start because there was no padding on the posts and no scoreboard attendants until the end of the senior colts. Just the finer details that makes the difference between a smooth day at the footy and a frustrating day.

I sincerely hope that I have to eat my words and it is a well run day. I will be the first to put my hand up and say I was wrong. Just cant see it happening.

Was there masses of spectators at Two Wells yesterday?
Hummocks did a great job on Saturday as far as I know, especially considering it would be a hell of a lot harder for them to just wizz down the butcher or the pub if stocks are running low.
The last couple of times I've been to Virginia it appears as thoughh they've had more helpers in the canteen and at the bayern marie, even managed to get some ribs last visit, they were superb.
I think that they need to set up their bbq food closer to the big shed in which they cook it all for the GF, their food selection is excellent and it will be very hard to get the catering right, at least they have shops close by to top up if they are running low.
It was good to see so many Hummocks players helping out on Saturday aswell, there must've been at least 8 blokes in the beer/ bbq tent at any 1 time all helping out, was able to get a beer without any wait.

Correct, taken from the Barossa thread.

Lethal Dose wrote:at the end of the day rules are rules and willaston had a right to ask for a head count. Roger James was sneaking off knowing his team had stuffed up by having 19 players on the ground. Wasnt the best way to win a elimination final, but if the shoe was on anyother foot in the BLG, they would have done exactly the same thing. Im sure if Gawler Centrals had the same thing happen next week and tanunda had 19 on the ground, they would point it out.

Scores were level (Barossa 9.5.59 Willaston 8.11.59) Willaston had the momentum going into the last stanza, so really anyone saying they win underservingly needs to get the head check out. Was an excellent game of footy, both sides put 100% into it. Shaun Childs gave Heath Commane nothing yesterday, was best on ground and With walton, campbell and baker in the middle all playing well also.

Maybe a Gawler Central v Willaston Prelim at the dog track is on the cards, where the donnies have won both encounters this year.

Is the lad that didn't play for Balak's Snr Colts back in this week? They looked very lethargic against Two Wells, Mallala 17's challenged Balak's earlier in the season when they had a stack out playing for Trinity. I think Mallala will get up.
Mallala for me in the 1's and 2's aswell, Virginia's injury list may be too big for them to cover.

If Balak win the senior colts. That would be 7 out of the last 10 GF's contested between TW and Balak. Remarkable
