so onsong how did the Vo2 max, 20m sprint, vertical leap, height/weight and skinfold testing go?? i hear it was all completed after everyone had a shit load of bbq n beers!!

We didn't get through the height and weight + skinfold testing as we ran out of paper to record all the data. Ack!

its an interesting time of year with time trials and so on, it doesn't matter what so ever how fast you run it's more important if you can kick and catch!!

It does matter if you're claiming to run as fast or faster than the best in the AFL draft camp.
I've handed out certificates for this!

I went for a run 2 weeks ago and stopped after 5 minutes, then walked for 5, then ran for another 4 minutes 57 seconds then walked home cause I was stuffed. Is that worthy of a certificate?

I ran to the crapper at 4am Tuesday morning and popped my right knee out. Does that get an award? True story.

If you actually ran 4km in 13mins and 13secs, you should have got a sh!tload more in the beep test.

Nathan Van Berlo was the number one 3km time trial runner in 2004 AFL Draft Camp with a 10.35 @ about 17km/h.

If he maintained that pace for another 1000m, he would have notched 14 minutes and 7 seconds over 4km.

Even this year's 3km Time Trial winner, Brad Hill, did 3km in 9.52, meaning if he maintained that speed of 18.24km/h, he would notch a 13.09, beating your time by only four seconds, despite you having done the "snake pit" previously as well.

So you're either full of sh!t or missed your calling as you're up there with the elite in the AFL.

Now that youv'e mentioned it, it could of been 15.13 but I'm sure it was 13.13 maybe it wasnt 4km. It didnt feel like it was

I dropped into the Owen Hotel on my way back from a Lions Club convention in the mid north. Seems the publican was very upbeat about getting the club off the foot of the table after some lean years.
