We have been able to secure League footballers from the Eagles to come out and take the training session and they will also be bringing the Thomas Seymour cup so the kids can have a hold of the trophy. There will also be a free BBQ for all kids who attend the training.

If you are reading this and you know of any kids between the ages of 6 and 17, particularly in the Dublin / Thompsons Beach / Port Parham (or any other area :D) who are after a GUARANTEED game of football every weeek then please pass the message on as this is a great opportunity for the kids and their parents to be involved in a family friendly club environment.

As per above for this Thursday night.

Have been told that the Eagles players that are coming to take training are Ciccy and 1 other (Rob Shirley pulled out). So get around it and I hope to see a lot of new faces at DUBLIN on Thursday.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

And what happens if this fantastic marketing ploy attracts more than 20 kids in one age group....? perhaps send a couple further down the highway! :D

By The way, HWEFC are holding a come and try night on Friday under, well a couple of lights, at Port Wakefield Oval for all potential A grade players in the surrounding area, no free sausage sizzle but the bar will be open and i'm guessing teas sold... 6.30pm kick off.

CMS Crows will be undertaking the same initiative at the same time and location.

Yes.

Someone from HBFC or SWFC thought it appropriate. Not really sure how it came about to be honest but none of the players seemed to have any issues spending a minute to reflect.

Two Wells vs Broughton/Mundora tomorrow. It will be a full day of 14's to A grade plus netball. Should be a good hit out

Hard to say, the scoreboard seemed to miss a couple on Pasky goals but prob about 5 goals over the last 3 quarters of 6 quarters. Scores were level for the b grade 3/6. Apparently Pasky had 100 blokes missing, not sure about the tigers.

Both teams were still missing a few players. Freeling's new full forward 'Horse' finished with 7-8 goals, Greeny was tough at the ball like usual, Parish showed his class at times and Schubert was everywhere.

Got up by 10 points I think iin the end. score was something like 12 12 to 12 2. Very physical contest I thought for a trial and no injuries which was even better

See on the clearance site Emmanuel Tsimilikis from Virginia got cleared to the Amatuers a couple of weeks ago but has now applied to come back to Virginia.

The same thing happened in the opposite direction with the Eagles picking up Adam Parsloe from the Barossa league only for him to put in a clearance back a week later.

Sounds a bit funny signing up a new recruit only for them to go home a week later.

Anyone know the details?

Im not sure if he was trying to keep his cards close to his chest and fox me by putting up smoke screens before our rd 2 clash
But he said you guys went down by couple goals??
This was followed by the cliche 'we had a fair few out and they were close to full strength'
