Im not sure if he was trying to keep his cards close to his chest and fox me by putting up smoke screens before our rd 2 clash
But he said you guys went down by couple goals??
This was followed by the cliche 'we had a fair few out and they were close to full strength'

Yeh that's right we lost by 5 goals silly me

By how much??

Hard to say, the scoreboard seemed to miss a couple on Pasky goals but prob about 5 goals over the last 3 quarters of 6 quarters. Scores were level for the b grade 3/6. Apparently Pasky had 100 blokes missing, not sure about the tigers.

There were at least half a dozen missing from United.

Balak beat berri pretty comfortably in both grades in their trial game yesterday. About 25 blokes stayed the night, a lot of very tired boys. Bus trip was about half an hour longer than what it should have been, quite a few times the bus had to pull over on the way home

The same thing happened in the opposite direction with the Eagles picking up Adam Parsloe from the Barossa league only for him to put in a clearance back a week later.

Sounds a bit funny signing up a new recruit only for them to go home a week later.

Anyone know the details?

Might be the points system, someone didn't do their homework. Assuming he would count for 3 points, possibly over quota.

asked to pass this on if people dont know about it
Wednesday 4th of April 7.30 pm at Mallala Football Club there is an association meeting for all junior coaches and team managers.

The reason for the night is to get all APFL coaches/team managers together to discuss a variety of matters including how teams/clubs can work together to benefit junior football in our association.

Having been the Junior Panel Delegate for MFC for the past 2 years and being involved with issues surrounding junior football in the APFL I personally think this is a very important night for all grades of junior football.

The meeting will allow us to discuss and iron out past & potential problems, give the opportunity for coaches to work together, and provide information on a number of topics.

After the meeting there will be the opportunity for coaches/team managers to have a drink (bar is going to be open) and have a chat with one another. As the U 14's coach I am looking forward to the night as I can see the many benefits it will provide.

If you are unable to attend the night can you please ensure that you have a proxy attend.

If you have any questions please get back to me via email or give me a call on 0439 859 375.

Regards

Nicholas
