Unlucky Norm, how long before the end was it tied for and did any team have a chance to win it at the death?

United kicked a goal after the siren to draw it. Hamley should have won. 4 goal up at three quarter time.

It was very hard to watch the game yesterday. It looks like another pre season filled with promise.
To watch the guys be 6-7 goals up and somehow let united snatch a draw was a pathetic result.
This side is the best I've seen at Hamley for a few seasons but thats 2 weeks in a row they've given up winning positions.
Saw the best players for us this morning and how the hell did Heberle, Taylor and Flynn make it in. The latter 2 didn't even play in the second half

Get your hand off it. You were never in a winning position round one!

It could have been the conditions but they appeared to have not much left in the tank after half time.

I thought when the ball went to him our defence done a great job spoiling him and making sure he didn't mark the ball. TW midfield got on top after half time and I thought that what was won us the game. I agree that Hamely can win some games as they have a good forward line and some top midfielders in their squad. Hamley were 20 points up at one stage as well but after half time we just turned it on so to speak.

As you said we had 3 goal lead just before half time in those conditions last week
That is a winning position so to speak MH

I don't know what game you were at but it was 20 points during the first quarter and I never said the lead was just before half time. A winnign position is being 20points up at 3 quarter time or the last five minutes and lsoing.

I call a winning position being in front but each to their own I guess. Even a lead at half time is a winning position. Because if you're losing, you aren't in a winning position.

Irrelevant anyway.

I can't see how u can call such a small lead with so much time left a winning position especially when you lose a game by 11 goals.

Because they were winning. That is a winning position, regardless of the end result. I'm not debating this anymore. It's not a great winning position but it still was. I can't see how this is so hard to grasp.
