Come on norm, we heard big things this year about your comeback. Is the boat keeping you out of the side?

To watch the guys be 6-7 goals up and somehow let united snatch a draw was a pathetic result.
This side is the best I've seen at Hamley for a few seasons but thats 2 weeks in a row they've given up winning positions.
Saw the best players for us this morning and how the hell did Heberle, Taylor and Flynn make it in. The latter 2 didn't even play in the second half

Put the steak knives back in the shelf. Don't need Newton loosing sleep this early in the season.

I heard some bloke covering the APFL league on the radio. He seemed to be in the know for the APFL.

Heard there were a couple of injuries to key HB players, any word on that?

Is that why we haven't heard much from him in the past couple of weeks, has he locked himself in the hyper chamber.

Yep, might of meant Hyperbaric chamber, thanks for the correction OnSong. Although I can see SD enjoying himself bouncing around on the old bouncy castles, maybe that how he got the injury to start with!!!

Gold!! Clearly a pretty boring week on the forum last week gents :D

Balak were clearly the better performing team on Saturday, they barely got into a canter. Mallala would be disappointed with their showing. Still a lot of improvement left in them which is a promising sign.

Thought the Magpies, missing a few key players ( ;) ) battled it out well. Never gave up, despite not getting the two points. Credit to the youngsters too for taking the game on. I reckon young Troy Algar got done holding the ball a few times but continuously worked hard and took the game on. Most young lads would have gone into their shell.

I heard Daniel Flynn did his knee in the first quarter and will be out for the season.
Absolutely terrible news.
How are the other ex PH lads traveling?
I heard Thachy won the Anzac Day medal for his game on the weekend.
Well done to the kid.

I think Flynn was in the best players, not a bad effort if he did his knee in the first quarter.

My Tips for the Weekend

Mallala -39
Balaklava 40+
Two Wells -39

Big game at Virginia this week as Two Wells try and prove they can beat the good sides and Virginia need a win to move off the bottom of the table.

Balaklava 11.6 (72) d Mallala 6.10 (46) by 26 points.
Two Wells 23.19 (157) d HW Eagles 6.5 (41) by 116 points.
Hamley Bridge 14.10 (94) drew with United 14.10 (94) by sweet **** all.

UNDERthePACK has built an early lead in the tipping comp, streaking one point ahead of the chasing tipsters with a round-high four points.
Seven posters picked up the four points on offer, after Hamley Bridge and United f#cked us all over with a draw, which no one tipped.
twogood4u has not been sighted for two weeks and languishes in last, while Swamp Donkey has been locked in the hyperbaric chamber and forgot his tips this week too (I think).
Nighthawk and BOMBERS are in close contention but Bob Loblaw and Mythical Creature are all but f#cked and could give up now.
