Reports from yesterday that you are your the slowest runner the lads have come across as in a long time . in saying that its better then not having a runner at all.

Enjoy finding someone to do it next week. Thats the problem at the club not enough people helping out but when people do they don't appreciate it.

Did you hang around long yesterday norm? Club was pretty full for presentations etc. Could only imagine the stories coming from Neutron after a beer or two after that corker he delivered early in the night about the comic books.

See on the YPFL board that Burgess has parted ways with Wallaroo and is heading back to Angaston.

Wonder if HB were offered his services? would help out there forwards or would there be no room for him in the points?

You make some great points MC.
I agree that all teams will have their fair share at the top and it will/should even up over time.
Our problem over the past few seasons has been lack of depth/progressing juniors. The likes of Balaklava have done so well to cover their depth in recent years because their bottom tier players have been juniors who now have had a few seasons of senior footy under there belts and have become very serviceable senior footballers blossoming in a very good side.
The key for Hamley Bridge this year is to retain the recruits from this year and continue to keep building on the list and get some more senior games into the juniors. The past few seasons have seen too many come in and out the club and not enough retained and become 0 pointers.

Will they stay, BOMBERS? Or too early to call yet?

I heard that Salisbury North are trying to get 2 HB midfielders signatures before the June 30 cutoff.
Football department have some extra $$ to splash and are targeting former players?

All reports I've heard from HB make them out to be a good club who value their people and supporters... Not the case norm?

Considering the outs they had, I would assume it wasn't a bad effort.

I see the good sides get stronger with the much awaited return of Leigh "Moose" Wright through the magoos for Balak on Saturday. All reports have had him training down the house the last 3 months, and was just having a run through the B's before a late call up to Association side next weekend. Looked the goods too, until that dreaded hammy went TWANG!

Depth issues would be the number one issue. Imports all seemed pretty good to me.

Bombers played a lot of players behind the ball clogging up the Peckers forward lines.

Peckers kicked 1.8 in the second term, 5 in the first and third qtrs then came home with 9 goals in the last to open up the gap.

Very good club. Just a cheap shot at the kids that have a crack at me. Their is prob just not enough people putting there hand up to help out.
