Yes.

Pity the rest of the team are spuds, still in bottom half of ladder after all the pre-season talk of finals.

Injuries have hurt them, they seem to match it for at least half a match and then run out of legs from what I've seen and heard.

That all depends on how much they're being paid I guess, but both feature regularly in Hamley's BPs as does Hansen, Flynn, Herberle. Like Hazbeen alluded to, I think their issue is depth. They seem to have taken a step in the right direction this season.

Taylor hasn't been on the park as often as we would like this year but everytime he has played he has been great.
Unfortunately injuries have struck Taylor down and he hasn't been able to run out a full game regularly.
Thach has been great for us this year.. Would have to be the pick of the recruits.. Works his ass off week in week out and recieves alot of attention from opposition midfielders. Had 2 taggers rotating on him on the weekend and still managed to kick 3 goals and play a blinder from the midfield.
But as stated before its the lack of depth that is the issue. Such a heavy reliance on the imports and not much input from locals...
Would have been great if caterall, moody, pepe and the like all stuck around this year and we could keep building on the list.
But most these recruits are 1 year wonders and don't want to go through the tough times again and jump ship.

Do you think this years imports will hang around? the six or seven you got, what chance to stay?
Was there any fall-out from Big Reds spray?

Hope allmond doesn't mind Dawson using him for a step ladder then for a couple of his trade mark speccies.

Allmonds Hammy looked fairly bad on the weekend. Would be silly to play him again until finals as he is still Two Wells' no. 1 man.

United 1-39
Mallala 1-39
Balaklava 1-39
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

By 2015 in APFL, sadly I feel it will be HWE out, Angle Vale in.

It would be better going away from the city not towards it. How will Angle Vale convince any netballers to follow them around. Hummocks won't be going anywhere in 2015.

The comp seems to ebb and flow, I think HWE will have another turn yet. They seem to have good people out there and they have enough juniors coming through.
I've been a big advocate for Angle Vale to look at joining the APFL and they are only a few minutes form Virginia and Two Wells.
