Roosters too good yesterday.

One of those says where we were horrible and the opposite were great. Will learn from our errors and look forward to the next meeting in the finals.

All jokes aside. I was surprised by the final result. To keep Balak to 4 goals up to three quarter time on a dry day was fantastic as I don't think that's happened much the 2 years. I don't think we've lost a quarter of footy since the last meeting with Balak which is a great thing

Don't forget Jason Akermanis is suiting up Gawler Central this weekend...If anyone is not involved then it would certainly be worth the $6 admission to come and watch. I think tickets to the event in the evening are pretty much sold out but obviously plenty of room to come and watch the game.

MESSENGER: One of Woodville-West Torrens' great post-merger players, Justin Cicolella, will retire at the end of the season.

Used to live with Cicca.........more than likely end up at Henley with Gav Colville

More likely turn out for the HE Eagles (or coach them) as he lives and fishes from Wakey

If he is anything like his old man, he has another 250 games in him. :)

Lochiel's in fine nick atm. Long Plains, Mallala or Balaklava are an absolute picture.

Most skillful and influential player to come out of the APFL IMHO, and no I haven't forgotten Healy or Luke McCabe.

My bet is on Cicca fulfilling a coaching/mentor role at the WWT Eagles next season and beyond.

What a disastrous week for tipsters, especially me, who did not submit my tips! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?
It didn't matter, I would have tipped HWE and Balak anyway, so the writing was on the wall for me.
There were some good scores, with jumbo, UNDERthePACK and The Big Shrek all notching four points in a tough round to tip.
The Big Shrek has moved into outright second position and has been in outstanding form.
With three weeks to go The Big Shrek could be the only realistic challenger for wangas#4, who still leads the comp pretty easily.

Balak 40+
Pies 40+
Bombers 1-39

Cica would be in the top 3 players to play for the club. Was a hot favourite a number of times for the Margarey in his prime. Deserved to get one of them at least. He'll play locally after a year off I reckon.
