I think they will have to win both of there coming games to keep top spot, because if they dont, either TW, Virginia or Mallala could probably steal it, depending on percentage.

Huge game between TW and Virginia this week

Must be the first time in a while Hamley hasn't been on the bottom, are they a chance to knock of the tigers this week??
If so does that put them in 5th place going by that ladder?

Would the club consider that a pass mark for Red and his recruits?

IMO I wouldn't think that 3 wins and a draw is a pass mark. That's only what I think. Not sure on the club. But if that puts us in 5 th spot what does that say about the comp??

Hamley have improved and that is a great thing for the club and hopefully it does continue over the next few years and beyond, but you would also expect that with the calibre of some of the imports they got this year, so hopefully these guys stick around and they can add to the depth.
Is it a pass mark? lets be realistic, both United and Hummocks are only skeletons of what they were 2 years ago, my view on a pass would have been 5-6 wins for the year, beating these sides on all 3 occassions. Nothing against either of those two sides but just my view on the comp this year

Lost to hummocks once, drew with united once and beat hummocks twice so far. Could have had 6 wins for the year if we beat them each three times.
And I'm sure the boys have had 6 WINES at some stage this year.

Bit worried about Hummocks. Other clubs like Hamely or United have the ability to buy a few players to get them through some tough times. Not sure HWE are willing or able to do that. Are there any kids coming through.

Do the Eagles need a messiah like J Cicc to breathe some life into the place? Why is Ace so quiet this year? Would be great to see them climb back up the ladder.

Their 17's & 14's are both sitting 5th atm, they are obviously always going to struggle in the juniors against the big 3 clubs but they've done alright against the others.

They have at least a dozen very promising juniors coming through the ranks, at least half a dozen 17's that will start playing A's in the next 12 months, a couple already have.

Hummocks lack depth, it would be hard to entice players out there as it's the furtherest journey from the city, it would be hard to implement game plans as I couldn't see training being well attended, hopefully Cicca does return and they can have their shot at becoming a force again.

Exactly, they may not have the numbers they once did but they do have some quality players running around.
The 3 Williams' in the 17's, Josh Appleby, Buzz Taylor, Tait Nottle, Chris Veitch, Studham brothers, Mitch Hill, Jordan Allsop and Jack Lu (could be the first chinese A Grader?) will all be definate A graders in the next 3-4 years from what I've seen. Plus bring back Dallas Hill from Centrals and they will have a pretty good side on paper.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Interesting from someone at the club, what would have been the expectations given there was a pretty big exodus for the Bombers from last year also...
Who do you think has made an impression on the club and will they all stick around?
