Kirk Heberle also on board again in his playing assistant coach role.

Anythinng else to confirm OnSong!

The board has acted on the Michael Hay situation. From what I understand, he has played his last game for the year and possibly ever in any competition.
I believe the umpires co-ordinator, Doug Tallboy, met with the Virginia Football Club this week and addressed the players, coach etc.
I don't think Doug knew this was going to happen at the time.
I also understand the presidents from each club were consulted on the matter by the board, majority (not sure how many approved of the decision) gave the all clear.

Nice.

Strong suggestion Justin Schahinger could be back from North Adelaide next year. Spending a lot of time on the pine with the ressies in a bottom side. Misses the club.
Would be a big 'in'.

WOW! Is this true? Big story if it is. Was Phillips behind the decision?

I can guarantee Phillips was in no way behind the decision.
Purely the APFL board.
Phillips worked extensively with Hay and considered him a required player at the club.

If that is correct OnSong, the Board needs to be applauded for the action.
