Rule in constitution which states the APFL must give adequate time and the document stating charges and rules for a fair trial. so how can you impose a penalty with no chance of a defenceOnSong wrote:norm11 wrote:I hear Hay has one more chance.
Haven't heard that. Could well be the case, perhaps an appeal.
As far as I know, it was done and dusted but we'll see.

Two Wells never said any of those things.
Directors moved that way, consulted the league's presidents and a majority favoured the decision.
No doubt the Rams would be somewhat bitter but the player should never have been registered with the league.
He's 25 and already missed 17 games through suspension. He would be banned for life next season anyway.
Unfortunate timing but the APFL has acted in the interest of player safety and its actions were endorsed by the clubs.
I still have not heard about norm11's claim of a second chance though. We'll see if he lines up today I guess.

Could we see a Hamley bridge like protest to the suspension ?

You just don't get it do you jumbo! It is all about procedure and the APFL never follows them. The rules should apply to all, but not in the APFL. Just like the racial sh*t going for years. The APFL would not even up hold what is law in australia.jumbo wrote:the joker wrote:APFL are a joke. Two wells call and say mick hay is too big. He tackles to hard, we don't want our players hurt.

You know what numnuts, if he only tackled no one would even care, but it's the 2 head punches that follow the tackle that were the issue for the league. No one to blame but himself!
Well done to the APFL.

The APFL did know of his past and allowed him to play. So i ask you again what were the charges. was not even reported was never ask to appear in front the directors so they can explain the rules on the number of suspended games and one mistermeaner and you will be bared for life. Did they ever tell him they stuffed it up from the start and should not have allowed him to sign up. As of on field behaviour! H walker constantly threaterns and abuses umpires but never reportedjumbo wrote:twogood4u wrote:You just don't get it do you jumbo! It is all about procedure and the APFL never follows them. Obviously not, please enlighten me TG - I am always up to learning something new. Please explain where procedure was not followed? Please explain why your player's on field behaviour should be tolerated by the APFL or anyone at all for that matter?
