Big congrats to young Daniel Coombe winning the Junior Colts medal for the 2nd year in a row! Amazing effort and even more amazing considering he played with a broken finger for the last half of the season. Something for our club to look forward to in the future.

Just putting this out there, drove past MFC oval this morning.... Is Mallala Oval the worst it has been in years? weeds? lumpy? just looks off in general?

A quick mow should bring it back up to speed. Haven't seen it for a while but it's always been a quality surface.

been left alone since last home game to recover,she will be right by saturday,just letting the grass grow over the worn parts from the season.

Thought it may have been becasue old cossie wasnt the gaurdian anymore.

yea a bit of truth in that as well,but he still does all the water,even gets up every two hrs or so to move the sprinkler over night

A little broadleaf spray wouldnt go a stray IMHO.

That's enough sooking from me. All the best to the clubs in the finals. Juniors and Senior Colts definately the best 2 from each grade of the season. Cooperated when we were short players, looked after the young lads who came and played well for us when they were in our colours.
