A little broadleaf spray wouldnt go a stray IMHO.

That's enough sooking from me. All the best to the clubs in the finals. Juniors and Senior Colts definately the best 2 from each grade of the season. Cooperated when we were short players, looked after the young lads who came and played well for us when they were in our colours.

something we aimed to work on this yr with juniors, help out other clubs so all players from both sides had good games, next yr when we swap players coombe can come to our side lol

Just for the hell of it and because of the lack of forum action this week here's a thought for conversation. Who else would enjoy watching a Southern Adelaide Plains (Virginia, Two Wells & Mallala) vs Northern Adelaide Plains (United, Balak, Hamily B & HWE) origin like match. Never gonna happen but here's my line ups anyway.

HB: C.Rimmer S.O'Brien J.Earl
HF: T.McPharlin S.Lamond M.Higgs

B: A.Mark T.Cawrse J.Wilbore
F: G.Dawson S.Hansen K.Herbele

Rucks: S.Feast N.Seccafien K.Leighton
Rucks: H.Walker C.Taylor L.Michael

We did this in the Riverland for its 100th anniversary, North of the River v South of the River.
Players weren't really amped for the format but the game was on in ernest and it turned out to be a ripper. Couldn't see it being a permanent fixture though.
As for the team, you would have to put Jibba in that forward line somewhere.

On another note, Caleb Howell back in for Virginia this weekend.
I had heard smatterings of it but it's confirmed, he will play Saturday.

I still think TW has too much pace for the Rams but Howell back in is a step in the right direction.
Was in great form at South Cairns too.

I think that's a great idea.
When could you schedule it?
Perhaps a preseason game?
Clubs would be more inclined to let players play at that time of the year

You would think Virginia would have done its homework on this and wouldn't play him if this was the case.

The Caleb Howell situation shouldn't be allowed I u start a precedence for the future but in saying that I don't think it will matter all that much. Feast and Sam O'Brien are bigger ins for Two Wells.

This is the bit in the constitution which allows a player to be transferred after June 30.

9.2 Bona Fide Change of Residence after 30 June
A player of a Club of an Affiliated League who has no financial indebtedness or contractual obligation to
the Club with which he is registered has been made a bona fide change of residence after June 30th in
any year and who desires to play football with a Club of another Affiliated League, may apply for and
must be granted a Clearance to play with the latter Club provided that the change of residence of the
player is substantial and must be validated, and such Clearance is completed in time to permit him to
play the required number of matches prescribed in the Constitution of the Affiliated League to which he
desires to transfer, so as to qualify him to play in the Final Series of matches in that Affiliated League.
9.2.1 Validation is required by both Affiliated Leagues and Affiliated League Clubs.
9.2.2 Any dispute on a substantial change of address may be referred to the SACFL Investigation
Committee for determination.

I wander if the bit in bold has been done, as the way I read it every club from this league and the Cairns league has to validate that he has a bona-fide change of residence.
Unless of course there is another way to get cleared after June 30.

Anyway, doesn't bother us and just makes the game more interesting!

Mwahahaha! Best.
I played in the earlier game. The selectors chose me over Sizeable Lad, as they thought I'd do well in a three way midfield change. lol.
