They can appeal for more points plus play under 18s like Rhys Darwin, Sam Collings, Jayden Wedding to name a few who played A grade last year.

Very dangerous postion to place yourself in; a case of the tail is wagging the dog.... I wouldn't want to be the A'grader missing out for kids who haven't earnt a spot but simply had to be selected based on points.... That'd certainly point to a mid/post season exodus.

The kids mentioned performed admirable in the A's last season, I think it's better to be blooding local talent anyway for the bigger picture.

Fair point, although depth wasn't exactly something the Bombers were blessed with last year. A quick look at their points for next year (again, these are my assumptions):

Locked in:

Thach 2
Heberle 2
Taylor 2

To confirm but I have heard they were on board:

Hanson 2
D Flynn 2 (knee injury in 2012)
N Flynn 2

Can't remember if there's more.

Your right OS, some of the blokes they had running around at times last year were B graders at best, so the inclusion of a couple of kids can't be a bad thing.

I thought MH or OS said they had 18 points last year, considering they were only 1 point better off than the year before (a draw against United), the league shouldn't hesitate in giving them another 18 this year. So if OS is right thats 12, Greenwood is +3, so they could recruit one more 3 point player before they have to worry about playing kids.

IMO they still would be a fair bit short on the top level, but good on them for trying to put some life back into the club after the last 5-7 years they have had.

BOMBERS, any inside info of the club at all?

well done to Hamley to keep Hanson, Flynn & Flynn. Becasue i was at the meeting about round 15-16 this year when they said there was no way in hell they'd be staying as they hated it!!!

Agree with both regarding r depth.
I know the club wanted to keep everyone from this season and made an early play to get them signed up.
There was a stalemate early but in the end everyone stayed put.
Don't have any inside info as yet ;)

Yet, you would happily take these guys back right?
Sounds like someone isn't happy they couldn't get Hanson and the Flynn's back.
