 Given most clubs are 4-8 weeks into pre-season training, I find it hard to believe he is weighing up offers.... whats he after?? money?? C'mon OnSong... :? :D My guess is that given he obviously failed to make the committment just a week before xmas, he cant be that serious on having a fair dinkum crack down there.

I heard he was training with Sturt.

I think he was training with Centrals, bit closer to home

Both Sturt and another club have shown interest in him. He's recovering from a fractured fibula he sustained back in he latter stages of the season and has been advised to rest it but won't be long before he starts preseason with either Sturt or the other club.

With Easter being where it is that draw has a little bit of everything to keep everyone happy.
The clubs are happy cause there is not a Sunday final
The league and CFB are happy with a bye for zone game
And we are very happy with the GF! :D

Also with Easter in March does that mean that trial games are only 6-8 weeks away! Scary stuff.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

The fact there were no fixtures for that weekend was a giveaway, surely!

Michael - Weighing up offers from SANFL clubs
Dawson - Eagles at the moment, interrupted preseason due to hip-flexor problem
Brice - Probably likely to miss the year after knee surgery
Farrell - Back to Mildura after finishing Uni/TAFE
Lamond - Might just play out of necessity
Smith - I don't know who that is, perhaps Dylan?
Doherty - I'm told he has signed on, not certain
Ruiz - Both Chad and Kane will go to Houghton in Div 7 with brother, Dylan
Chook Henderson - Moved to Smoky Bay for work
Shaun Henderson - Think he might be studying only this year.
Williams - Same deal
Gardner - Staying in town this year I believe
Cmrlec - Heard he was coming back
Catford - Who knows for sure?
Shepherd - Heard he was going to HWE where it is easier to get a game

I don't know who else the eight other old guys are you mention.
Roly McLean would be one I imagine.

So I guess there's a mix of some leaving for better offers, some out of circumstance with work and uni, some getting picked up by SANFL clubs (good luck to them) and some I don't know about.
It happens. Relatively cyclical. Looks like a few kids will be playing this year though.

My mail is Doherty was gone when the siren blew in the prelim, wanting to head back to Freeling. Have since heard that Freeling were reluctant to have him back.

Don't think it's been mentioned on this forum yet but Justin Zanandrea from Kapunda to HB. Young gun with immaculate skills.

Bushy makes his own rules up and probably given them 6 more points to be competitive

Has Nickalus signed at Virginia this year or is he heading back to Gawler Centrals
