Greenwood out what's he done??

I think the league dictates 1 game this round as the ANZAC game, which I believe was United vs Virginia, and have a medal for that game. Wasn't at game this arvo so don't know if Bal vs HWE had a medal as well. Were to have ceremony before game with last post and minutes silence.

Greenwood, don't know, sore back from carrying his match payments?

greenwood driver was no good in warm up,so pulled out and didnt play for the cash. thats the people we have around ( club people, club first)

Four rounds in and every team has at least one win and every team has had a loss. (On the A grade ladder).

Saw Hamley Bridge swarm all over Two Wells, with tackling pressure a feature. Dangerously, the Bombers are clearly developing confidence in each other, highlighted by the way they worked the ball into the stiff breeze. Incredibly they outscored last season's premiers when going INTO the gale over those two terms.

It was a fantastic effort against last years premiers yesterday. The team seems to have built a lot of belief in one another in the last 2 weeks. The game was won in the first half as the HB midfield were ontop right from the first bounce.
Taylor, Thach and Appleton will get all the credit for winning the midfield battle but I thought Justin Zanandrea and Winnie Thach played their roles well when rotating through and played their best games for the club.
It's great for the APFL to see the comp evening up.

Allegedly however, Zanandrea did his best work at the club function kicking goals with both feet whilst Winnie Thach rotated through the club's women stock.

In a 7 team comp its good to see a team that has been smashed over the years, start to really mix it with the league best. The last thing this comp needs is to lose a club. Rumours are strong that if all Hamleys imports play most of the season then the club will be forking out well over $100K for the year. A lot of that put in by the president. But hey good luck to them i reckon, my only concern is can they sustain this strategy or will history repeat itself & they will struggle after some short term success. Hopefully they can keep most of this team together for years to come???

Highly doubt that total. If they play one final that's an ave of $280 per player every match. Anyway, good on him for doing what he has to to keep the club alive, most people would buy a new boat!

That wind was insane, have to agree with the ferocious tackling and pressure applied both ways, it just didn't stop.

As mentioned previously all players from last season took cuts to get new players. I'm sure a few other clubs will be spending a fair bit.

100k? not a chance. Iron Chef Newton, and his Sous Chef Sue would not allow that.

Not mine. The old man's.

Not enough $ in newspapers. It's a hobby which I supplement by collecting cans at the footy on Saturdays.
