cant believe that people are still talking about fricking points, i know some of you bloke individually you are smart people, others not so - you know who you are.

Why are people still worried about this. Congrats to Hamley for finally using their full allocation of points, let the league decide who is and who is not worth points.

I know where you are coming from swampy, but the whole entire league is inconsistent; not only the points allocation/system.

Is it not a topic of discussion? All I did was post what teams should be getting next season depending on how many matches each team wins.

As long as the lad from Hamley and the bloke from Hummocks are counted as 2 points next year then I think its fine. That would be consistent, as Pearson from Balak was 2 points last year and 1 point this year (Is this right Onsong/Hazbeen)? If those guys are counted as 0 next year, that would take some explaining regarding the inconsistency.

The thing I don't get however, is that Hamley and Hummocks have applied to get these players as 0 pointers, presumably using the basis that their points allocation is full, then recruited points players after getting them through as 0's. That probably doesn't quite sit right.
Example: (not 100% if all these carry points)
Hamley - Hasledine
Hummocks - Hatcher, Msapenda, Nietschke, Noske.

All the players you've listed for us are zero pointers

I'm a big fan of the Port Maggies and hence favoured Mallala when they were up and about. Virginia let me down when they kept coughing up GF's. I didn't think TW would actually take a flag, so missed that boat. This year... hmm. I'm scratching my head with the results - I think HB could give it a shake if injuries stay away and a bit of belief, so 'Go Newt!
