Andrew Turrell and Ash Lockwood yet to play a game, hopefully in the next few weeks.

Andrew was struggling with recovery from knee surgery? Is that right?

I played my first A grade game against Roseworthy at the college back in 1997, so they were still kicking then.

Andrew Miller kicked 16 that day and went off with a hammy late in the third qtr. I may be mistaken and Hazbeen may be able to shed some light on this, did Miller kick 100 that year? He would have gone close. It wasn't unusual, but we kicked 48 goals that day. They struggle for numbers big time, especially during the uni holidays.

Not sure on that one SD, I was playing in the Mid South East League that year while I was down that way for work. Came back to Mallala mid 98.

Don't think Roseworthy were in the league when I came back or maybe for only a year, they moved to a very low division on the Ammo's and went on to won a couple of flags I believe.

They were around for one of my 2 years as a mini-colt back in 97-98. So I reckon 1997 was their last year.

Andrew Turrell will make a huge difference to the Eagles when fully fit. At his best is in the top bracket of country midfielders. Hope the Eagles get to see that before season's end.

Bottom line with HWE is that they have an ageing list. Given many of their players are close to if not well over 30, you'd imagine it will be difficult for them to ever get a full team on the park. That said I think the only way they'll have an impact is if they get a bit more out of their younger brigade including some of those missing at the moment. I dont know the age of these guys but at a guess they'd be close to if not over 30. There are some great players amongst them!
Joel, Ciccas x 2, Belpario, Guthberg, Barnes, McKinnon, Twelvetree, Sharpe, Oswald, Light (?), Mader(?), dunno about the Turrells?

Couldnt decide between the following 2 come backs:

1: Surprised you could pick that up from 15m off the pack, and
2: Atleast he's still at his playing weight ;)
