Bombers 1-39. Hamley with a lot to prove after Rd 2 result. Maggies know that and this first quarter will be tough, hard and fast footy
Peckers 40+. Hummocks are coming off two 100+ point floggings and this may be another one
Roosters 1-39. Tricky one here. United are not that bad, but Two Wells at home

We'll have to wait and see.

I'll hopefully get to the Mallala Hamley game this week, I reckon there will be a few sore bodies afterwards. I'm sure HB are better now than their first game, but I'm not sure they will get up. Interesting tipping..

Good point. Now we're at hump day, it's worth looking at the coming weekend's games and the Bomber v Magpie match is definitely the game of the season to date. Mallala will be looking to assert some dominance after smashing Hamley in what now looks to be an aberration of a result back in round two. For their part, the Bombers will be fired up to show that they ARE the best side in the comp. Will be a cracker of a game.

like i said early,Hamley will BE VERY HARD to beat all yr,hurts to say that but they are on a mission and really cant see them losing other,is meant to be wet and muddy saturday so yes will be interesting but hosently they will get up and revenge that first game easy.

there is no favourite in this game. lets hope its a hard clean hit out , and just the football being played unlike last time where the hamley boys just wanted to fight. 2 very good sides, so its anyones game

Peckers to make it 2 in a row by 10 points - close game
Game of the round Tigers to snatch victory from the Cocks 2nd to last kick of the game win by 5 points. Fitzgerald get dropped??

He's been rumoured to get dropped ever since round one 2010. Rumor has it Mat Young has given up on footy to focus on male photo shoots under waterfalls? Any truth to that BigV?

Mallala favourites. Be surprised if hamley have beaten Mallala in the last 10 years? maybe swamp will know? Overturning a 15 plus goal loss from last time will be tough

From my sketchy memories, the 2005 prelim was the last time HB beat the pies, e.g. two games before the mass exodus hit HB.

Always staggered how people say, "it will tough turing around a 15 goal loss from last time". Remember the bombers will get a 15 goal headstart this time around.... somehow I don't think the flogging they copped in round 1 is all that relevant, nor will they be all that concerned about it given they've won every game since!

Last time we beat Mallala was in 2006 at Hamley. Seems like an eternity.

Hamley Bridge 4.3 7.5 14.8 17.9 (111) def Mallala 3.2 6.3 9.4 13.8 (86)
Best: H Bridge – B Buster, C Harvey, A Rademacher, T Smith, R Savage, S Gregory. Mallala: C Mathewson, C Kenchington,
T Evans, T Cawse, B Montgomery, J Hollitt.
Goals - Hamley Bridge: B Burgess, B Buster 3, T Smith, S Gregory, A Baker, C Harvey 2, B Burgess, T Would, J Lowe. Mallala- C Kenchington, Ian McMillan 4, B Montgomery 3, J Hollitt, M Bichmore 1.
