Nah heard this from a bloke who was watching, fair big hanger i'm told, bigger than his hanger over the porties ruckman peacock? Not sure about his brother though, does anyone else know?

Surely not that was huge against porties. Does trevors brother play there too? I thought he would of been in there best, but I only saw Trevs name in the paper.

Yeah i think the guy's name is Carl Semmler. Apparently he'd signed for Mypo but got a job transfer and has now signed with Marble Range in the Port Lincoln league.

round 2 tips

Postby floataboy » Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:53 pm

well heres my tips for this weekend...

Imps v Ramblers
Meningie v Mypo
Tailem v Mannum

should all be close games looking at them. tailem v mannum will be an interesting one, first one for the roos and Tailem looking to improve on their last game. Mypo should have it over meningie, though supposedly the bears still have a bus-load to come back into the side. and the chooks should take down imps though it will again be a pretty tough game.
look fwd to reading the sunday mail this week!!

anyone else care to nominate their favoured teams for round 2??

Are J. Rigney's actions finally speaking louder than his words this season ?? The guy has talent (just ask him) but it doesnt match his mouth !! Trev is still taking his hanger per game i see !! That guy could fill the Footy Shows almost football legends highlight reel !!

Hahaa Hack are you a current or ex sullies/Lonsdale player supporter?? ..... Jezza sure can talk but im sure he will mature this year and hopefully become a better footballer ... He definately has got talent and i reckon he is ready to emerge from Trev's shadow if he doesnt let his ego get the better of him

Lion Heart, Jezza come out of Trevs shadow? Mate im saying that for that to happen Trev either has to forget how to get the footy or Jezza tackle him everytime he gets the ball. Trevs flair and balance with his speed and spring will be almost some of the best i have seen. If Jezza gets close they should dominate the league and help jervois to another premiership.

Classic Insider and i agree on your summary.....i didnt say he would be a better player than Trev ....but would emerge as a good player in his own right which he has not yet proven ...... plus Trevs drinking will catch up with him soon!! ....

Cant see why he would need to get a feel for it when he has come from a far quicker and superior league .... maybe he is struggling because its not the style of footy he is used to maybe he being played out of position ... plays his best footy running off the back flank and i know they are using him as a forward

That "40 year old" would presumably be Tony Hughes (actually turns 39 this year). Hes incredibly fit, and whilst he would no doubt rather play B Grade, certainly wouldn't disgrace himself in the Seniors.

Big game for the Eagles this week against Meningie, the loser will be hot favourites for the spoon no doubt.
