You would think after years of successful juniors you would not be in this position ????

Just less than 1K according to my sources. Apparently, he was pretty happy to tell his mates about it.

sad to hear if true

felt blackwood welcomed him with open arms and he seemed to embrace the club but obviously a bigger paycheck was more welcoming

Blackwood has also lost their 3 west adelaide recruits from last year as well. They have gone to Ardrossan. Bit of trouble at Blackwood culture wise I am told. Also chatting with one of their better locals and he said similar and some more players looking to leave.

Well a close sorce told me Hourigan and Powell (Eagles) had signed for Hahndorf but $900 may only cover them playing until half time!

Interesting OTH.... I have good word as well that Hourigan is suffering from major osteitis and was told by South Adelaide to have a lengthy lay off from the game to get it back on track. South Adelaide certainly aren't happy about hearing he has signed on at another club.

As for the Blackwood guys, I'm guessing it would be Myles Krakour, Ah-Mat Waktins and Paul Ellissiou that are the west Adelaide connections you are referring too.

Blackwood already replacing some of these guys with their strong connections at West. Scott Bricknell and a youngish ruckman who Jars was chasing.

Think he got 2 with 2 suspended. Seems a little inadequate for being found guilty of striking.

Seems like he got off pretty lightly then, especially when Sutherland quoted in the paper that it was the dirtiest behind the play hit he has seen in the HFL.
