Yank actively recruiting from over he boarder with one particular committee member making the trip to Mildura over the weekend, they are offering employment etc. Freeborn apparently not to play, only fitness coaching for the pre-season then wont be around for the regular.

Saints for premiere's in 08!

Are the Saints going to beat EBs clearance record from 07? Time will tell.

Yeah i do agree. We have spoken about this in length before but they already have 8 on the board. Few guys returning but definitely organised.

I dont think any Wooden Spoon side has been talked about more in the history of sport. I love it!

They are hot to trott at the minute, bad news about compass...

Im not going to throw a ladder up but I will predict

Improvers = Saints, Ebays
Suprise Packets = Victor (aaprently to lose Hodge though)
Bench Mark = Willunga
Sliders = Compass, Mypo
Hot or Miss = Creeks
Most hated club = Strath

Can you elaborate on your reasoning for Strath being the most hated club FM?

thats disappointing FM! naming Strath as the most hated when clearly it is us (the saints). Its the only title we have please dont take it away from us. On another note I thought LIMB was dead. Then i saw hime on page 11 of the Advertiser today, which was a releif!

Apologies LF and BA, just a personal grife I have with them.
Dirty little bastards dont like the hard stuff and winge like little girls when its dished out to them but yet find the time to hit blokes behind play and attempt to sniper players in packs, weak as piss and probably the only tow rounds I will play thjis year will be against them. Like I said just my opinion from personal experience is all - I will step down from my soap box now.

Bahahaha Saints, yeah your right LF.

Yeah never heard of the bloke off to Balak but he wouldnt be a total tard as they were very good in both grades last year (Creeks)

I would have to agree with most here FM but Strath? I thought they were only hated by the creeks.
Victor are not sounding too flash at the moment as I hear Levi Bell, Brad Roughy and a couple other locals will not be playing in 08.
Why are the Saints hated so much LF?
They cant be too bad they seem to have recruited some decent blokes from good clubs for 08, guys like the wilson brothers and lads from Penola would not go to a club that was hated.

FM you really do have hate towards the saints and in a way answered my question as I was posting it.
Do you know the players from Saints that were out to hit your lads? All I read about and heard was that incident where a Saints player (Hayden Mckinlay I think) ended up with a broken jaw and Saints believe it was a pretty dirty hit.

This is all only what i have heard.
I did hear that about Hodge but also Victor were making one last diving attempt to keep him. Also Kim White has been out to training and looking fit, if they can keep him injury free and focused he could be a very big part of them in 08. Also the Hienrich (I have no idea ho to spell it) boys will be out, I know Chad has taken up cycling and is certin not to play.

Oh sorry mate, no we have no problem with the saints - the incident I was referring to was against Strath and trying to explain my dislike for them.
My post was about us V Strath in 07, the first time we played them they were dirty and didnt like it in return and even complained to the league and the second they were dirty turds as explained.

The Saints incident was nothing mate, LF will probably agree. One player was almost stationary in a marking contest and the other was running flat chat to get to it and bang! But it was a king hit of any sought as the ball was punched away and the collision was in the main the upper arm but other than desparation there was no callous in it at all. No punch ons occurred as a result and other than the side lines I think the players from both sides didnt take it as deliberate. But then again ask LF his thoughts.

Can anyone tell me the science in the having the top 6 sides all on the same points? Wouldnt it be better to have top 5, bottom 5?

So it could be worth a drive to watch the Bays V Strath game then? Dont you have them first round?

Always worth the drive to watch the Bays play mate.

Not sure, we have Saints in Round 1 again and then Yank and the big derby Vs Victor in Round 4.
