You'll be glad to know that I'm far from dead BJ.. just busy with my media committments

I think FM and I have found something that we agree on! I've gotta admit though I didn't think Strath were hated by too many clubs apart from the hawks..

Langhorne Creek will be lining up against Morphett Vale in a trial match at Hawk Park on the 5th April. Should be a good match.

The Creek are losing too many players and although with the performance of their 2s proves they have good depth they will struggle to match it with Willunga in 08.

You would have to be a game man to bet against willunga . Alot of talk on here about recruits but until the season kicks off its hard to guage where teams are at , I would think that the top 5
sides will stay the same but maybe in a different order , bays may get over the line if they can keep the majority of last years players . I think the rest of the sides will make the rest of the ladder . Saints have too many new players , we all saw what happened at bays last year and it may take time for them to gel . Willunga premiers 08 !!!!!!
White line fever , say it is'nt so

I cant see Victor any higher than the bottom 3 and Compass wont slip down that far but its to early yet

Can anyone comment on the ability of the Reeves boys?

I dont think the top 5 will stay the same in 08, Willunga the only certainty and you wouldnt think that the Creeks would slip far. The Creeks are still prepared to spend some big bucks and I suspect that come round one they will have finally introduced some very big names to the side who are on big coin.

Mypo snuck into the finals last year and this year may not be as convincing.
Compass have some big outs if the rumours are true, there is also a rumour that they struggle to pay on time every time (I said RUMOUR) and this will hurt them in recruiting as I have had it mentioned to me by several players from outside the GSFL whilst in discussions.
Strath will be interesting, what are their projected ins? Lost Walsh already and two others - names escape me.

Well if Victor are pinning their hopes on the Reeves boys, they could be in a fair bit of trouble.

Neil was very ordinary last year and mainly played B grade after a mid season hiatus and his brother, Simon I think, only played a couple of A grade games at best in a struggling A grade side.

Both young, but I wouldnt be paying them money to come to my club.

specky sounds like you know a bit about Christies. The Saints have signed Pudney. How did he perform last year, he looks handy on the track?
