Sounds like the Bays could be desperate for a ruckman after losing Bayliss.

Most players and coaches are against the rule, yet administrators did not listen and it is now in with the can of worms it brings. Great Southern is a great competition, arguably the best outside SANFL and A1 amateurs and they bring in change. Unbelievable!!!! Clubs who voted for it, with the exception of Willunga and Victor Harbor should cop it sweet and not grizzle about it for the season, as they are the reason it is in.
also heard the GSFL have granted Mt Compass permission to play this Darling bloke as a 1 point player due to thee fact he has moved this way dont think he even has a Mt Compass postcode on his address, great argument for the Saints i would think

Some big gains in Demonland in the off season. Willunga considering imposing a points system of their own. A weight watchers points system.

Good to see Bassani has sat back and sussed out that the local boys are as good as any division 3 footballer.

Not what I heard - they're still up to their old tricks by the sounds of it.

I work with a bloke who plays saafl div 3, is a fringe 'a' grade ruckman who told me EB rang him on the weekend offering him up to $500 a game. can anyone around EB elaborate?

doesn't look like Bassani has sat back for long!!

Sometimes fringe players in town are wel suited to country footy though. I was told Raymond Love was EB's leading association vote getter last year. He only played a couple of A grade games in div 2 the year before.

However I can't see a fringe player getting offered $500 games and I think your post is either stupid or a stir. Fair chance your mate is full of shit. If not, can I have $500 please FootyMad?

LovinFooty your mate is clearly a deadset wanker or has some fantasy about the Bass giving him the call up. I wish I had a ruckman's name let alone number!
That type of money would be better suited to splitting it amongst the locals.

From memory Raymond was not EB's leading vote getter. I'm pretty sure it was actually Ben Stokes.

R. Love wasn't the leading vote getter however he adapted well in 07 and had a great year! He was switched from a fringe forward to a key defensive post with great results.

Whats your opinion?
If football was your clubs main source of income for your club what would you prefer to spend that money on?

Football Operations - Players, Staff, Materials etc
Clubrooms and Facilities - Improving structure, ambiance and modernising surroundings etc

Can always pick it Hills. Not sure on hodge, its the case of the Victor faithful saying he's staying and the Morphet Vale followers stating he's back.

Kappars I spoke to a bloke last night who looked over six foot however I found out at the end of the meeting there was actually two of them under a large trench coat!
To be honest ruckmen are hard to find this year (unless your from Willunga) but we have our fingers in a few pies.

Like any good buisness a footy club should start from the ground up spend the money on the Operations side of the buisness! Sucess and good people will bring in new opportunities and funds which allow you to add the material things.

I dont know about you FM but all i need is a uniform, a team, a ball and an opposition and i got myself a game!
