I'm too lazy to read back through the pages!! I mentioned it a while ago, and WoW seemed to think that Loots was the only player of note leaving the muddys for Happy Valley

Plus, you wouldn't give us a name!! Trying to play secret squirrels!!

Hubener only started and signed on friday night last week
but Kova has been to nearly every session and seem keen so lets hope he stays that way.
i asked around on the southern league forum and one poster confirmed tim heath had been traing at Porties but had not signed or anything yet!
Kovacic and Heubner leaving Myponga back to Happy Valley. Myponga could slide a bit especially with Daniel Loots gone.
Speaking to a bloke from Goolwa yesterday, the best thing Myponga could do was get rid of him. Nothing but a loud mouth sook was the words he used, who thinks he can play, but will get sorted out in the SFL.

Now on to actual good posts!

Kova at Valleys

Swooper -i saw Dooles the other night but he would not say too much! they all rekon Mypo was a good club and he inparticular didnt get to do much last year due to a broken leg i believe. Maybe he feels he owes them muddies a year.
As for Linc Rogers hasn't commited to Myponga but has a fair bit going on out of footyaparently.

Sorry to be ignorant but am I the only one who has never heard of these Myponga blokes? Did they actually play last year?

As far as I know Huebner played all year, Kovacic only played a handful of games but has had league experience with Westies, so would be very handy if he committed for a full year

Didn't Kovacic pull the pin mid-year at Myponga and Heubner definitely struggled. Didn't stand up when asked, while Rogers was a great pick-up for the Mudlarks. Don't like it much when a player quits half-way through. Once a quitter always a quitter!

Correct Brock!
Kovacic played league at 17 i think- pretty handy indeed.
Hubner is a quiet achiever- havent seen him dominate but is a solid hard worker and contributes all day hits targets you know the important stuff.

Fair call he has a tendancy to go missing where ever he plays.
i think it comes down to player management and he is tough to keep interested. Likes to work weekends type of guy!

Kova's has a history of that. Would be surprised if he is still out at valleys by round 8 which is a shame as he can play if he decides to put his mind to it.

From what i read Rogers was the best pick up for Myponga. Class player and a top bloke as well.

He is a loud mouth, but having played with and against Loots, I'd prefer to have him on my side as he is one of the hardest ball winners I've played with or against, sounds like sour grapes from that bloke.

Where did you come from Red n black? post shit & sit back and have a giggle to yourself. Valley boys and Loots were great for the muddies. He'll finish in the top 10 for the SFL mail medal

Lootsy would be in my side anytime the perception about the way he goes about his footy will upset a few in SFL especially Morphies if they are not aware of his antics.
I tried but the price was too high even though danny is not a big money person

That makes no sense observer. Lootsy is not a money man but his price was too high? Elaborate as that contradicts itself. Knowing Lootsy he does not push for the $$. He likes a good club and good people and will generally stick it out through thick and thin.

He will go very well in the SFL aswell, the smaller grounds will suit the in and under style of play that he has and we all know hes quick. Definitely one of the better ball winners in GSFL.

i play at Goolwa and I know that there are guys that have had run ins with Loots over time but he was always well respected as a player. He would be in my side any day of the week. Not many get the in and under ball like Loots does.

Talk about contradictions BJ. Lootsy is a very good player, no argument there, but sticking "it out through thick and thin". Myponga to McLaren back to Myponga and now at Happy Valley, sorry that is not sticking through thick and thin.

They were the talk of the league with the clearances and it was all for the wrong reasons. A whole side was cleared in. Good to see Bassani has sat back and sussed out that the local boys are as good as any division 3 footballer.

Not what I heard - they're still up to their old tricks by the sounds of it.

I work with a bloke who plays saafl div 3, is a fringe 'a' grade ruckman who told me EB rang him on the weekend offering him up to $500 a game. can anyone around EB elaborate?

doesn't look like Bassani has sat back for long!!

LovinFooty your mate is clearly a deadset wanker or has some fantasy about the Bass giving him the call up. I wish I had a ruckman's name let alone number!
That type of money would be better suited to splitting it amongst the locals.

I never said he was my mate. I just needed confirmation thats all
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.
