They should finish just above Bute, so second to last. I honestly don't see Bute winning a game this year.

Bute will have a tough year Westy but I dont think Ardrossan are a shoe in to beat them. There is a big gap now between the top 4 or five teams and the rest. Not a healthy situation.

It is sad. Iblame the points system. Before it come in the comp was pretty even.
In the 2000's every side won a flag bar Bute, but they played in 3 Grand final also in 1999 and won a flag in 1993.

Could not agree more Westy. The points system is the worst thing ever for country footy. This particular league has got the point allocation way out of wack. No chance for the weaker clubs to make up ground and its only going to get worse.

Agree the downside is that the lower clubs get more points but that means that they have to spend more money to use those points.

I Think Kadina will pip the Crows to win the flag this year. Pasky a chance but some of their local players starting to look a bit long in the tooth.
Mail medal K.Thompson with J.Lawson r/u.
Leading goal kickers Searle then Jolly and Ramsey 3rd
Spoon a toss up between Bute and Ardrossan.

Geez...some close results in round 1. Nobody would have expected the Eagles to beat Pasky . Great result for local footy and proof that trying to jam as many outside players into your team at expence of your locals doesnt always work. Kadina and Crows showed there is not a lot between them and Moonta showed the Breakback boys that they have improved a lot. Josh Ramsey will be a gun recruit for them. A few people had suggested Bute wouldn't win a game for the season and that is not healthy for the competition. It will be a tough season for the Roosters but
great to see them get a game on the board.

LETS PISS OFF THE POINTS SYSTEM!!!!,

Think there are quite a few sniggers around the place at the moment Westy about their ordinary start. Only early but they would have expected to be 2 and zip.

The crow's are as dangerous as they have ever been. The only differance this year is there lack of depth. At the monnent there playing 16 year olds kids and 45 year olds man. After 1 physical game against the bloods the crow's were challenaged by Bute with them leading at half time.

Pasky won't stay down for long once there stars start playing as a team. I hope Bute and Southern Eagles have improved heaps, makes for a healthier comp.

Your right Westy, it is still early and Pasky will take some beating once they gel a bit more. I think the Eagles will be a lot better and Bute have a little more depth than the last couple of years.I didnt expect the Roosters to win a game all season so they have already proved me wrong. The Cougars talked up their chances during the pre season but havnt fired a shot as yet! Moonta have started well but havnt played anyone of note yet. They are likely to self implode during the season if they are true to form. Can only hope.
