Nat Salter coached Nuriootpa's B grade / reserves side and they played off in the grand final

& should have won the grand final some very questionable selections made for the game by the tigers selection comittee but hey it was the a grade game that everyone really wanted to see!

Yes, the young cub paid the untimate price in giving the thumbs up to a few one legged bandits in the big dance.

2009 - 35 K lucky to save money on injuries to havery (6 games), dawes (5), robinson (4) and the B-Train (13) would of spent 50 k if all playing.

2010 - 60 K and rising, still got room to move....get on the panthers!!

Thanks Toronto, around the mark from what I have heard. Don't worry with a large increase in players I'm sure you will be accused of spending over the 100K mark, as you will know it will be off the mark but the accusations will come and it will be you guys fending them off this season.

Had Mick McCarthy around fixing my Diesel Gemini today, says he's feeling good and set for a big comeback.
Although it appears he will have few helpers, as the Bomber is a little lean on the recruiting front.
The Bomber can't compete in the current marketplace.

Westy is supposed to be coming back, Haven't heard much since Christmas, I know they have started training I just have not had the time to go to the club to see who is there or what is happening but the goss before christmas suggested that he was a starter.

Pretty sure he is staying down at centrals for another year but if he starts in the ressies dont be suprised if you see him in the black & white will turn out similar to what tommy schiller done played half a year with the dogs then returned to tanunda just in time to qualify for finals

I'm with you Pinchy, the Ango boys/girls are well and truly on this site blowing their trumpet for this season (similar to WAC last season with GC). From what I have read it looks as though they will take out the BLG flag in a canter go on the take out the AFL flag on their footy trip and then get the trifecta with the SANFL flag the following week. All the best to them but don't get too confident boys/girls these things tend to come back and bite.

Greenwood has appointed Andrew Germain as his assistant for this season. Andrew lives in Tanunda but sells John Deere tractors which places him very neatly into Freeling. Greeny and him have some connection, I think he palyed some footy with the Port in the ressies but not too sure.

Tanunda ( not sure who is in and who is out)
Angaston
Barossa ( Has some good players but will have to do with 3rd spot- Will not win a final)
Freeling ( The club will do anything to play finals this season. $$$$$ anything)
Nuri
Cantral
Willaston
South
Kapunda.

I believe so, and are paying the coach around $30K, now that's a fair sum of money for any coach. They must want to win something, maybe the 'highest spending on coaches' award.

From what i am hearing, the Donnybrook camp have a couple of cards up their sleave left to play and happy with the talent they've got to work with from 2009.

They just need to add a little bit of experience and some extra class to finish off their work and the top four will be firmly in their sights in 2010.

Does Rigney fit the mould here for young Donnies outfit?

Still a happy team at Barossa by the sound of things Queen Vic.
Will the wound ever heal itself?
How's Roger Ramjet progressing with the squad, any recruits, prediction?

As players
Roger himself, Stelzer x2, CHB from Renmark last name Jenkins, and Michael Barigilla played a few years ago, play in the A grade but not much.....
