I was in having a quick one tonight at the Angas Park and the talk was Cragg-Sappsford is looking a very slim chance of pulling on the yellow and black for Uncle Ian in 2010.

Osama Sapps posed no problems for the panthers in 2009.

All the money is coming in for the panthers to reverse the colours on the chimney this year. Hadd's looks to be headed for tough calls over the coming months with tabasco steaming around the track trying to hold a spot.

anyone heard of confirmed trial games

Pinchy no point putting money anymore on Angaston for the flag, the odds are basically even as they have already marked out a spot to put the 2010 flag in their clubrooms. According to another contact up there, it is an absolute lay down and why concentrate on this season when there is 2011 to worry about.

this hurts, might have to agree with Aceman on Tosold . not the 'complete' team player'
only checking he seems interested in is spelt differently.
but will be interesting to see how he goes in this league [ can [was ] be very good on his day ]

Pinchy I believe you maybe talking to Skipper not me but I do have agree with both of you, even Tanunda has given up the race for the flag as apparently Ango have already won it and I can assure you their supporters are very confident and are driving this. No real news at Tanunda, see what what turns up round 1.

Wheels to fall off the hillbilly wagon come september and Blockheads to get a threepeat is my tip.

Why would the wheels fall off pinch hitter even with injuries they should have good depth.
Should be a 5-7 goal better side than last year.

Pitbull the wheels will fall off due to their over confidence before a premiership round has already been played. Seems they are setting themselves up for a big fall, it really is amazing there are supporters and players up in them hills that think they have the flag well and truly covered for this season, good to have some confidence but I think it is going a little far just yet.

Q Vic Bitter - Pretty sure having Roger, 2 Stelzers, and Jenkins are fairly handy ins.
The club has improved its' coaching panel and replenished their playing stocks - think most supporters are pretty satisfied with the direction the club is heading.
You, on the other hand may not be, so isn't it time you moved on and stopped embarrassing yourself ?

Because with hype come$ expectation and the microscope will be on the hillbillies who have gone from being the hunter to becoming the hunted. We'll see if one of the other sides can emerge from the pack and counter Hadd's defensive game plan.

Does any1 on here think barossa will again be up in the top 2 or 3 teams? Just looking at who has gone where etc think barossa will be right up there again this time with some young lads that have A grade Experiance wont do them any harm.
Ruck
Christie
Midfield
Taylor, Spencer,Stelzers x 2 (would have 2 be 1 of the strongest going around?)
Forwards
Commane, Moore, Lister, James, Schwartz (fairly strong Forward line)
Defence
Sharp, Kent, Jenkins and Angus (solid defence)

Think they might be around the mark and i know a few of the boys are determined to stop Tanunda from emulating their feats of 3 consecutive GF s and 2 flags

Hadnt heard that Lister had come out of retirement. He is so old he would be more a liability than asset on the park anyway.
Any truth to the rumour Sharp has retired with back issues?

From what I have been told is that Lister is looking better now than he did 2 years ago. The word from the doghouse is that Lister may not be playing this season anyway. As for Sharp I have not heared anything about a back problem. All I know is he will be on the park this season.
If I see it I say it.

Thin down back, doubts on Sharp/ Angus, Angus less then 10 games in 3 years many soft tissues injuries....both Ambers should be in that list, go well
will finish 4 to 6, OK on field, Basket case off...

Stay tuned QV for some news on a few signings that might surprise you. I understand there's still a little cash left over in the kitty and the doggies are pretty keen to spend it. That "Basket case off " scenario as you put it... might change pretty quickly with some on field success. :)
