With Feb 1st been and gone any big (non predicted) movements on the ins and outs?

Anyone care to partake on a little top five shuffling in line with personnel changes?

Does Kapunda rate up there? I heard the Bombers are looking "rooly rooly good" during the preseason so far. This rating from a trainers daughter who goes along.
They also picked up John Nicholas didn't they? He can play don't worry about that.

Can't see the Bombers causing too many problems.
Could have some timber in their trophy cabinet come September.
"Big Nick" will find it a little tougher in the big smoke. Is he wearing the No2 guernsey like the original.

C'mon guys, only 8 weeks to go. Let's have the "ins" and "outs" for the clubs. Those big buck players who are gonna win a premiership for your team. We've heard about South a lot what about the others?
What about each team's chances - I wouldn't mind a few cold ones on Freeling at this stage.
Who's gonna finish top or bottom?

Tanunda - Lost Kennedy and maybe Agars to SANFL, but picked up a Hoff.
Barossa - Lost Christie and Taylor and picked up a ruckman from Athleston
Freeling - Maintained all our list with some additional inclusion
Centrals - Lost quite a few players, but have good ressies to cover.
Angaston - Unlucky not to go alll the way in 2010, but lost many of these players. Will push Centrals for the last spot.
Willaston - Spending up big, but not enought to play finals footy
Nuriootpa - Lost Wohling, Walker and Gibson. Picked up Hamilton from SAFFL Div 2.
South - Held onto their kid imports from last year. Picked up Lawry$$$$$$.
Kapunda - Picked up Nicholls from NEFL, but not enough to get off the bottom.

How do other posters feel about the new points system.
The old system seemed to work very well in the BL&G. As evidence shows every club won a flag other than South and Freeling in the last 10 years. Although Freeling played in 3 straight loosing Grand Finals.
I think us (Freeling) have benifited the most by maintaing our list and some handy add ins. Angaston seem to have lost the most.
My opinion is that there is still as much money in the money pool, but clubs are reduced to the amount of players they can recruit, which means these players are getting larger match payments.

The points system is much fairer to all clubs, but maybe it will mean some of the available cash will flow to the deserving locals at last - the ones who really win the premierships. Wouldn't this be true of most flags in the last 10 years? Except Barossa. It seems a couple of the right imports is enough if you have the local talent; especially if they'e happy. The points system means you have to make the right decisions now.
I think you'll find Kapunda have a few more newer faces than thought. Might surprise some.

Add Adrian Wilson to nuri's recruits

I am told Willaston have picked up 13 new A graders, including McCleans x2 only this week, if true will play finals no doubt.
I will attempt to name them feel free to add
James- Ruckman from GC
Bates or Gates from GC
Williams RSMU
Glen Graham ?
Josh Taylor sth adel
Chris Mclean GC
M.Mclean United
A couple of these played a A1 Res and as such carry no points

If it is the Adrian Wilson then he will bring a few brothers with him one would think. This will be good for the BL&G as one thing the comp has lacked is the silky smooth skills of the fleet footed indigenous boys

Corey Wandke who has played A Grade at Modbury is heading up to Kapunda this season to play with his cousin Chris Rowe. If he gets fit will be handy, depends on how serious he wants to take his footy.
