Well. its finally official, the B- train, Basco, Tobasco, Basc, the Big Caboose has left the station in the Barossa for his old childhood, sunny, seaside home of Streaky Bay.
He is now the new A grade playing coach of the West Coast Hawks. All for a regular Thursday night Snitta (with extra gravy and chips) and a couple of lemon squashes ( with extra ice and a clean glass each time).
A colourful character, look out for a rebirth and new episodes on the EP websites in the future.
the B - train has left the building !

I am sure you have 5 or 6 blokes ready to step into his spot anyway.
As for Kapunda, Kym Bissett is moving to Adelaide, he has been handy last 2 years and will be missed.

Sorry about the late reply Stewie, you know more than me, I was under the impression that he was still pulling on the black & white so I will look into it.

Stewie a bit more info on this front, it would appear that he may well stick it out up in QLD with the recovery, nobody really knows what he is going to do but it would appear that he will not be pulling on the black & white this season.

I had heard over the weekend he would be back for round 1,
but he sounds like he is enjoying himself up there.
Reckon he will be back before cut-off half in May or whatever.

Kapunda played with about a quarter of what will be their A grade side by what I've been told. Lots of U17's and B graders, even U15's. Unfortunately bad timing of the game meant most missed due to long weekend commitments no doubt.

Tough pick between South and Kapunda to see who will have something of the wooden variaty in their trophy cabinet come September. So pretty tough to gauge.

South have parted with a heap a cash again on an anboriginal footballer from up north by the name of Clayton Irwin. Is a cousin of Willastons Shaun Childs and was going to play there until South offered 3k to sign right there and then and $850/game.
They must have made a fortune from the grand final last year. With the cash they are spending the board would be expecting Milligan to deliver a premiership i would think

Nuri had an internal trial at Roseworthy on Thursday night. Looks like Chad Obst will be out for the year with a knee. Their new recruit Hamilton should be back for the second game.
Matt C-Sappsford was sitting on the sideline, cos they don't pay him for trials, or maybe it was his runny nose.
Although his brother looked ok in the trial.
They play Eudunda and Waikerie in the coming weeks.

Williston beat Virginia by 3 goals, could have been more if they kicked straight. Good hit out for both clubs

Heath Lawry must be one heck of a player if South are jumping that much.
They have lost 3-4 guys and got 1 that I can recall.
Kapunda and Ango will be above South.
At least its not misguided premiership talk from the lions this year.
