What makes everybody think that Freeling are going to improve so much this season?? It seems every year they're tipped for top 3 or 4 yet the last couple of years would suggest they will be down in the lower rungs of the ladder, unless of course they have spent a bit over summer. I heard Greeny is as fit as ever and is set for a monster year, but who else have they picked up?

Freeling have kept all their imports from last year with most becoming locals under the points system. They have regained Travis Muster from Broadview after he followed Scotty Leal their a few years ago. Jarrad O'Rielly (Broadview) and David Wood (Angaston) come over to the Legs. Mark mensforth (younger brother of Luke) comes to the town and he just as big as Luke (if not bigger), while a returning Jimmy Lienert looks fitter than ever. There are also a group of youngsters coming up from the Under 17's who will push for selection.

Agree Bum Crack. I hope their not pinning their hopes on the ability of Mark Mensforth, I'm not suggesting they are, but he played at Mallala in the early 2000's and he didn't have much impact at all in the APFL. Who knows if he gets himself fit he might go alright, but he'll play mostly 2's at a guess.

Willaston b grade won by about 8 goals against a very quick a young kilburn team, was a good hit out for willaston, look out season 2011, alot of depth down at doonybrook lane. Any b grade with the likes of Jarryd Cole, Max Bornholdt, Matt Brooks, Matt Treloar, Dan Brooks, with still to come into the side the likes of Brandon nottle, matt cotton, adam moss, Gavin "Teddy" laubush, and a few more A graders to come down with inclusions in the top order would be a team to watch. A grade looking exceptional, with good numbers and many star players in the midfield like Shaun baker, Joel Campbell, chris McClean, Sam Walton and a gun at Centrea Half back in Josh Taylor(Big Unit). go you DONNY'S

They played very predictable football for mine with all there movement going through there big blonde FF who at times had 2 or 3 to beat. Willaston was lucky to win Kilburn just run out of legs. Kilburn were the better side all night and in my views got the raw end of the stick from the blokes in white. The game wasn't played in great spirits with quite a few scuffles breaking out throught the match. Willaston'S CHF with tatoo's everywhere got sent off for something behind the play in which i have to say didn't look good, Not sure there was any reports but i found it very amusing players from BOTH SIDES even bothered with the carry on in a trial game. I understand that it is near on impossibe to judge the standard difference between the leagues but surely the BLG is a better standard than a div 4 SAAFL. I would be interested in anyone's views on where they think the BLG rates in standard compared to the SAAFL.
