It's a breath of fresh air in the BLG this year because there isn't a stand out team at this stage. Not being a Tanunda supporter it's good for the comp they got beaten on the weekend, im not for one minute saying they can't win the flag again but they have certainly come back the pack more than i thought they would. It's fair to say south are fav's to take the wooden spoon home this year after a very dismal peformance on the weekend. I went to watch the Freeling and Barossa game on the weekend and i must say maybe freeling are the sleeping giants they have aready beaten willaston and beat barossa with ease on the weekend. Not sure what everyone else thinks but my early prediction for the top 4 are Tanunda, Willaston,Gawler Centrals and Freeling. Kapunda willbe around the mark but should have beaten nuri on the weekend.

Incorrect. Was at kapunda for the game. Nuri were clearly the better side over the 4 quarters and the 5 goal margin was just.

The maggies have had their time at the head of the table , its good to see the beginnings of a cinderalla story with the donnybrooks keeping that spot warm after 6 rounds.

The Donnys are always set to fall from grace faster than a lead balloon.
At any time things can implode at Elliot Goodger Park.

However with the massive influx of players they have recruited this year alot of sides will want to hope they implode quickly. It say's something with the A & B grades sitting top.

I don't know Binny, they are starting to look capable of kicking a big score and usually the team with the biggest score wins.

One loss hardly constitutes a crisis at the maggies. They will still be there at business end of season but yes the pack seems to be closing the gap

Nuri forced Kapunda out of their comfort zone on Saturday, but saying they were a far better team over four quarters is a bit rich. If Farley had kicked 2 run in goals in the first Quarter it's 8 goals Kapunda to 2 for Nuri - Virtually all over. Nuri really only outplayed Bombers in second and last quarter(7 goals in 2nd). I don't know who Nuri were missing, but Kapunda had significant outs and took game too easily after 1/4 TIME and Nuri pounced. Don't think Tigers can play much better, but Bombers can.
Reserve your judgement till end of round one.
Also don't think 1 loss spells end for Tanunda, after all it was at the dog patch - sorry track.

Did South give Irwin the sack after his 1 kick 1 handpass effort against Ango, that works out to be around $525 a possession if my maths are correct, Heath lawrie payed his way also after his eye catching 6 kicks, havnt they spent there money wisely this year.

Many big names come to the competition and leave with their tails between their legs.
Lawry is a smooth mover, but won't split packs.
Was toweled up by young Daniel Rathjen on Saturday.

Also must pay my respects to the Nuri player who has spent the past 3 days in intensive care following a knee to the back that resulted in a ruptured spleen, and loss of half a kidney
Accidents happen, but you dont like to hear this...

By all reports young Jack is on the slow road to recovery, not without a few early concerns.

Nuri v Centrals battle of the tigers to go Centrals way by 5 goals
Tan v Freeling blockies to bounce back and sending greenie away empty handed with a 8 goal victory
Barossa v Ang Barossa to be far to good and win by 12 goals
