Believe he was found not guilty of headbutting but copped 1 game for undue rough play and had another game added for a suspended i game early in the year for abusive language to an umpire.
Think he may be headed to a Adelaide Plains club.
TYhis weeks winners

Ang v Kap Ango at home will push Kapunda but class of Valentine, Taylor will get Kap over the line by 3 goals

Free v Centrals Both teams need to win but Tigers will win by 5 goals

South v Tan Tan to smash South and put another nail in Milligans coffin by 12 goals

Will V Nuri will be close game and with the turmoil at Will during the week I think Nuri can win by 3 goals

Any ideas which one Uncle Sam? Hamley being the closest would be the obvious choice?

For everything he was accused of and how it was made out to give the impression of a Blood Bath
Would have thought it would have been 6-8 games
To only get one, does that mean all the game reports were trumped up by the Media ????
Or, does it mean that Willastons men at the BLG used their influence again ????
To only get one, did Willastons Coach and Committee over react ???

Just some questions

One Eyed my mail from down at Donnybrook land is that all the players that came with coach Irving are having positive impact at club and mixing in well with players and club members.
Taylor has been sensational, Campbell excellent, Big Jimmy Jones has been servicable and will improve with more game time as I believe he missed all off last year with an arm injury but marvellous around the club and helping out with the young Rosewall lad's development as a ruckman, Bates and Savage good contributor's and little Dutchy Taylor was great but out injured at the moment I have been told with a broken jaw.

I think you just had to be there Maybe, most of his problems where directed at the umpires, there was a fair amount fo ruff stuff as well, the umpires missed a lot of the initial stuff but I think what he got was fair and I can tell you the Tanunda players retaliated and a few of them probably could have been given a few weeks off as well.

Will be interesting to see if he pulls his head in at a new club.

Good effort from South today for 3/4. Really pressured Tanunda for the first 3 qtrs but their class came out in the last. Only 7 points in it at 3/4 time but Tanunda ended up winning by about 5 goals. Be interesting to see if their skipper gets games for his cheap shot in the first qtr, the ump saw it and sent him off.

Would be unusual for Newberry to take any cheap shots. He's a class act who generally doesn't get engaged in that stuff

By the way, are ALL of the committee members at Willaston in concert with the decision to sack Les Baker? Just hearing some dissent coming out of the committee room. Would be interesting to hear from some Donnybrook people on this one.

By all reports the guys that have been there for years who got back on the committee this year are doing a great job and have the club back on track, would be surprised if any of them didnt back the sacking
