Southern Flinders is keen to resign him for a third term in 2012 and may have offered to install him into a McDonalds franchise in Georgetown

Maybe Norm is one of the coaches in talks with GC for the coaching job.

Been off the airwaves for a week!
Adam Turrell - easily the best clearance man in the BL&G this season
Steve Lubcke - yep, inherited a good playing list, but did bloody well with it and IS genuinely a good coach
Brett Woodards - McDonalds don't pay enough for his liking!
South Gawler - Bayliss only filling in. I wonder who the club will appoint as its next victim?

In a laughable mishap the team minibus broke down in Pt Wakefield on the way up to Pt Pirie. Big Mal Greenwood had to tow the bus into Pirie.
Good luck to the Eastern zone today.

What a weekend at Pt Pirie for Marvellous Mal. Towing the bus must have had an effect on his mojo - red carded in the Sunday game for supporting one of younger players in the team, and Eastern missed his presence on the field for next 3 quarters. What will Freeling do without him for two weeks he's suspended, as apparently he's been the stimulus to their recent revival?
On a happier note Billy Wells, Phil Bennett and Josh Taylor got in the team of the tournament, and AJ Prior is in the State Country squad with them - god luck guys.
Great weekend and Eastern could've been in final but for fade out in second half against against Murray South East, couldn't buy a goal, and umps seemed to like the MSE forwards more.
Game against the City league and a couple of country boys - Southern, was tough and closer than score suggests.
Well, back to BLG this week.

The red card - Mal didn't have a chance because there was no defence allowed. He accepted the 2 games because of this, is what I was told - no character witnesses, even Lubcke not allowed to plead case. Just the word of the victim and a "quickie suspension" from SA Country tribunal.

Big Sauce Agars to win the Schluter in an infatic return to Barossa footy!
Thats if he can maintain his focus on and off the field and avoid distractions. Limiting encounters with Luke 'The Frog' Patterson is a must if he is to continue this rich vain of form.
On another topic I have heard that Freelings Jarrad O'Riley is being paid roughly $300 a possession, can anybody confirm this rumour?

My spies at Tigerland say everyone is scratching their heads at where the rumour has sprouted from re Craig Dawe and the coaching position. Seem to think someone has said a word out of turn, but with no authority and the rumour has as much legs as an earthworm.

Couldn't agree with you more Roodog, the rumour probably came from a mix up with Souths coaching position.

he's a nice bloke but the way Hamley are going 2or3 win over two seasons, this will be the last year for him to coach at that level.
