The funny one is these playing coaches that put themselves in the best players every week.
Could this be the year that a coach wins himself the budget player of the year?

Assume your talking about Big Mal.
Whats wrong with a coach giving themselves BOG?

Think they are missing Les more than they will admit, might say more about the coaches ability than the $$$ being spent, he didnt make any moves of note yesty, very inflexible side which will never compete with tanunda
Who picks your best players brook? Thought Jones was great for angaston ramming it down harveys throat all day but yet was in the best and also C.Mclean had very minmal impact until junk time in the last quarter, the margin was 11 goals at one point in the last
Jones from willaston was very good on the weekend. His midfielders should be dominating. The likes of Baker, campbell and mclean are unfit and only run one way. There is willaston's problem. Jones needs to do more around the ground but his centre square work is first class.

Day's willaston will play finals footy so they are leaps and bounds ahead of where they were last year. They were an absolute rabble and the easy beats of the comp. From what i have heard they were lucky to get 20 blokes to training on a thursday night, The players hated the coach so wouldn't turn up to train. In saying that like the rest of the comp they will be playing for a grand final berth and that is all.

How many teams have won a grand final with a playing coach in the BL&G league?

b]My info is there may be a couple or more going back, not all that convinced the move has improved their footy, maybe just their bank balance.
You wouldn't have a clue Seagull, Talking to big jimmy after the game saturday he is loving playing in the BLG. He also said a number of the new recruits signed to play for 2 years at willaston. You might want to check you info is correct. Gepps Cross was well known for chucking big coin at average players so im not sure there all that different to willaston in the money stakes. I can say from the 3 willaston games i have seen this year majority of the willaston recruits have been more than handy. In saying that from the amount of money they are rumoured to be on they need to be more than handy!

Touche Richie!
Could you actually understand him or did you lip read? Anyone silly enough to sign for 2 years at any club deserves the pain so we'll see at season's end as I'm not sure the coach is as popular or as good as he thinks he is.
You can only field 21 players. Average players get found out very quickly and play in the seconds on zip.

Gawler Centrals – not a happy place,
watched the game yesterday and a lot of the players rotating off the
bench seemed to have a lot to say to the coaching staff, none of it good.
Don’t know how wakka puts up with the abuse from his own players.
They will struggle to make to G.F. if they don’t sort this problem out.

Coach Hadden and his chargers made light work of the Lions.
Young Andrew Pech overshadowing his younger brother for the Mullet McGrath Medal.
Panthers are now looking set for a run at September with an attractive draw.
May just come down to the last round against Kapunda.
Meanwhile, the Donnys appeared to be making the most of the bye with a team bonding exercise in the outer.
