Don’t know how wakka puts up with the abuse from his own players.
They will struggle to make to G.F. if they don’t sort this problem out.

The forward line was non existent yesterday. Bova very poor with no second efforts. Was looking forward to seeing Bova & Scooter working together. The entire team more interested in abusing the umpire & coaching staff.

Something is wrong down at the dog track, this was their day to flex some muscle and show they wont be their usual also rans.

Tanunda on the other hand are warming up at the right time of the year and cant see any team getting close to them come finals time.

Mal's Mob have now blown any chance of playing finals footy in 2011. Big Mal was shattered in the effort from the boys. Heater probably being the difference.
I tuned into AngastonFM yesterday morning and heard one of the forums own. Good head for radio I think.

After doing a head gasket, I bet that's the last time Mal Maninga agrees to tow a mini bus to the mid north.

May just come down to the last round against Kapunda.
Meanwhile, the Donnys appeared to be making the most of the bye with a team bonding exercise in the outer.

Not all players were there, a couple spotted at a game elsewhere.

God Seagull,

another post lacking credibility!
Anyone would have thought the BLG is the AFL with you, The willaston lads had the bye they are allowed to be where they wish to be when there not playing! Any chance to have a snip though, Good try i just hope the rest of the people on here realise just how much time you have on your hands.
Went to have a good look at the top of the table clash on the weekend what a waste of time, Gawler Central nothing short of pathetic. There was nothing coach Dawe could have done, the pies had 21 better players on the ground. Scooter hahn needs to lift his work rate looks as if he doesn't want to be there at the minute and a shadow of his previous years. GC will not challange tanunda come finals in saying that im not sure there is a team in the comp that can. Start celabrating block heads you have it in the bag!
Might be interesting to see how many knifes will be out come the end of the year at GC, from the whispers i have heard dawe is not the man to continue next year, watch this space.

With the new point system do the players become more of an influence on keeping or moving on the coach?
Clubs can’t afford a mass exit of players especially if they are no pointers.
Take Gawler Centrals if they were to lose 4 or 5 quality players (no pointers) because the club decide to keep the coach, then 2012 would look a little grim. Move the coach on and keep the players then 2012 doesn’t look so bad.
I’m only using G.C. as an example as this would apply to all clubs.

Heard a whisper that if Angaston don't make the finals this year that there ground will be hosting the Grand Final. Brian Hurn might wanna get his council down there and re turf the ground. from what i seen of it a few weeks ago, was not up to scratch. I know its early to say it now cos it could come up trumps by then, but i would suggest nuri as more suitable.

No better place to host the big dance in BL&G footy, than the hallow turf of Anagston.
Mayor Hurn won many a flag here.
A little August/September rays and this hallow turf will be enough to make Lethal Dose salute.
Will accept his apology in advance.

I only hope we don’t get the weather we had last year at Angaston.
One of the two worst ovals in the league for bad weather.

So every club will get to host the G.F. no matter if you make the finals or not.
Good idea,
Every 9 years you get the big one with minor finals between those 9 years.

Yep thats correct everyone gets a 1st semi, 2nd semi, prelim, and G/F once every 9 years.
I think im right in saying Barossa, Centrals and South are required to host it at another ground, next year will be Barossa to host the big one, last time they hosted was 03 at nuri

We had the prelim at the dog track a couple of years ago without any issues...surely plenty of room for spectators and cars. Obviously not as ideal as Nuri/Willaston but I reckon if Tanunda can host one then we can....

if you could get people to set up areas on the actual track, maybe small stands etc, then the dog track would be good for a grand final, the whole day it self is a buzz, so not matter who has it, it would be a great day in the end. cheaper beer prices too, hard for people to not think of smuggling in an eski

Ang V Bar Angaston starting to come good. Last chance at finals. (2 goals)
Free v Tan Tanunda Just too good. Could this be Greenwoods last coaching game against his old side? (15 goals)
GC V Nuri Centrals if the players can keep their heads in they should win easy. (5 goals)
Will v South Willaston just but only if South are without their gun ruckman. (2 goals)

One of the best seasons for a while.
Three rounds to go and still position 3 and 4 aren’t certainties.
