A lot of talk about possible but does anyone have the facts for each club.

Willaston have signed
Pepe Hamley Bridge
Gordon Mount Lofty
McDonald Mount Lofty
? Possibly a Half Decent Full Back but not sure on names yet havent heard a peep from insiders as such.
? Heard another gun ruckman from Town on the cards, Watch this space
Mills Finally Released from Gawler Centrals, was shafted this year by them, they offered him Game time to drop him to B grade, then tell him there was no spot for the young lad. if they had of just cleared him he would have had a year in the A's down at Willaston, is a talent to watch.
Outs
Only heard rumours but Shaun Baker and Chris McClean will not be suiting up
Savage and Bates Brahma Lodge
Brandon Nottle and Matt Cotton(B Grade) Retired

Would wanna make sure his 'delivery' was spot on, ie Darren Jarman like. Spat it a couple years ago after signing with Athelstone cos his 'delivery' up forward was not up to his standard.

Doubt Centrals would clear him to willaston at all. Would be a potent forward line if he did sign up at Willaston

I believe that he would need to be cleared by GC no matter how long had been playing in another league...

I reackon he doesn't need a clearance if he has been away from GC for more than 2 season's.

Swooper are you leaning towards the fact that if anyone has been out of the barossa league for more than 2 years they can return to a club of their choice?

Would you want your opposition to get a player who has kicked probably 170 - 180 goals in the last 2 seasons? Adding in the fact that central also want him to play for them, if they can stop it they will

See your point Beery but surely we need to be decent sports, Tanunda had no problems clearing an absolute gun (Mal Greenwood) who won a mail medal with us to Freeling so he could further his career, slightly different circumstances but he went totally unopposed with everyone wishing him all the best.

Seriously guys? I thought it was pretty common knowledge that once you've left a club for more then 2 years you can return to any other club within that league without needing a clearence from your club of more then two years ago. In simpler english  Big Nic won't need a clearence from GC.

I was always under the impression that the barossa league had a rule in place it doesn't matter how long the player is away from the league they would need a clearance from the club they used to play to play for another in the same league. Could possibly be wrong anyone that is up with the current rules care to comment on this.

Surely that rule applys throughout the state? The 2 year rule is in the APFL unless its been changed

Pretty sure the barossa have there own rule in place regarding this issue. You would think it should be state wide but not sure it is in this case.
