Any confirmation that the group of former South Gawler boys that have spent the last two season at Elizabeth in the SAAFL are returning to the Den next year. Could make the Lions more competitive and add depth if Lee Makris, Ronny Lee, Scott Evans and Co are back in 2012.

Just heard Kirk Heberle to Hamley Bridge in the APFL.

Signed as playing assistant coach...

Heberle, Thomas & Blakemore now all gone from the Dog Track, hearing the appointment of Herzick as coach has split the club in half. It's a shame Wacka couldn't continue as coach, did a pretty good job considering the majority of players were locals and he didn't have a big budget compared with some other clubs in the BL&G.

I think we can add Hahn, Brading, Long, Williams, Purdie, Whenham, Foreman, Hillibrand and still big question mark over Howard moving to Melbourne for work.Losing 10 from the 2011 squad will test GC to the limit.Only recruit I have heard they are chasing is Nickalus and if they sign him the return of Jamie Scott.They had some talented juniors last year but a big test to step up straight into BLGFA Senior A grade football.
May be long year for the Gawler Tigers next year after many years a a permanent finals contender.

I was only having a joke about it at Fevs expense. Think Tanunda would be the only BLG team to even have the side to make a play for him anyway if that did occur, not saying it ever would.
