Westy i have watched a bit of footy from both the ypfl and the hills and i can tell you that you boys up at Kadina would probably only win 4 games for the season in the hills league and they would be against Callington and Cambrai twice each so must be a pretty handy footballer to go bagging a guy who has won 2 hills league medals.

haha never heard the name before until you mentiones it and if he is that good how come he isn't in the top 10 players on the YP website.i always thought the two best players from the Southern Eagles would have been Coombe and Barlow but in saying that i dont know much about them.

Agreed sentiments OBB. I too had not heard of him until this! And while some may say it better that the club rates its players, I would have thought being recognised by opposition clubs would be a greater measure of a players importance to a team! Hence why the MVP Players Award is regarded as better than the Brownlow to some as it is decided by the peers.

Not too many country leagues have awards given based on the views of their peers.

I am aware of this, but if his peers dont know who he is then that would be a fair indication that hes not the best player in the league (as alluded to above for any league).

Westy what grade of footy do you play for Kadina??? (I'm assuming you play for Kadina considering your hatred for everything Wallaroo)

You'd want to be doing some pretty impressive things on the footy field to be going around bagging blokes on a forum like this.

All year you've been taking pot shots at Brad Pearce and Bingos (on an internet forum mind you). These blokes don't claim to be the superstars that you have at your club like Edwards, Faulkner and Waller, none the less they are pretty decent footballers who just go about their business and have added a lot to the young Wallaroo side this season. Personally i'd take them over some of the 'people' you've recruited to your club this season any day of the year.

Things must be pretty boring out Kadina way by the sounds of it (I guess they would be since according to many Kadina 'people' you have both a and b grade flags pretty much in the bag)

Good luck to your club in the up and coming finals series. Just remember pressure does strange things to many people, especially footballers (no matter how much they are being paid) and your club should certainly be feeling the pressure. With the team you've got anything short of a premiership would be nothing short of an epic choke.

I agree Wallydog, this westy bloke must be racking up 30 touches and kicking a couple of goals every week. Bagging players on the forum. Leave that sort of stuff for the field.

Don't know who this Westy is but sounds like a big wind up to me and he seems to have caught a few fish in his net.Maybe he is trying to give the dogs a bit of spur?

Its just what this forum needed. Seems to be the only thing that gets this forum going. I know its brave of me to air dirty laundry on the internet! thats what facebook is for. But we must be doing something right. Top in As an Bs. In footy theres the hunters an the hunted. I think my boys will handle being hunted well. The good thing about pressure, it creates diamonds.

If that's what 'Rocks your Boat' so be it Westy. But you wouldn't want to be top all year, only to trip at the big dance would you Westy? ;)

Westy must be a gun Boo. Perhaps Westy is Willy Serle? Bryant 4th on the goal kicking list and Pearce 3rd on the list but are still ordinary in the great man Westy's opinion. Still waiting to see Westy's Mail Medals too.

Yeah did see pearce at 3rd position :D , but having only played footy with matt thought i would only comment on him. When i played with matty at Paralowie, he was a fairly decent forward. I can only imagine will be getting better he is only 22 i reckon.

Its westy here on his late saturday night post. Have to a agree with mail madal to Sam Trengrove. A man that gut runs, an thats what being a midfeilder is about. gut running. The blokes that dont know what im talking about have never pushed them selves like sam has. Trangrove would have to be the number one midfeilde in the YP. No more sprays here, because all thats left are the top two teams
