Also, not questioning 'Buckets' credentials, if fit and going will be a massive in for Kapunda,
and winning a Jack Oatey medal is a great achievement, but whether he will be able to play at that level this season is the question.
If we recruited the 1931 Brownlow medal winner it wouldn't mean he would dominate the BL&G.
Good to see Media Mike has learnt this lesson too and not put any 'new recruits' in his top-20 before a game has been played,
Besides Paget who has played for South previously, ditto for Barossa Scrub Taylor.
His much maligned list isn't too outrageous this year, though I am not sure I saw Ryan Bignell in there,
probably would slot him in for Bova, who's production will suffer as Centrals only main focal point in front of goal.
In closing I would like to dedicate this and any future waffle to Rich.........enjoy.

Im surprised the 1931 Browlow Medalist didnt play for you - he played everywhere else! It was Hayden Bunton Snr
Some more useless trivia (to add to the waffle) - He died at 44 in a car accident at Gawler! Ask Doecke, he would remember!
More trivia I hear you say - The 1933 Brownlow Medalist may have come from Angaston (in fact possibly an ancestor of B Kurtz if the info one I got from his ex one night is correct). Good ol' Willy Smallhorn took out the 1933 Brownlow!

B.Kurtz was told by a fortune teller once that he is the re-incarnation of Willy Smallhorn....amazing mail their checksider,
And good research too, with those kind of scoops you may lead everyone to believe you are Media Mike himself.
Willy Smallhorn... I can't be arsed looking it up to see if its true, but that is gold.
Lucky he won a Brownlow, with a name like that he may have had a tough life.

Believe Wiullaston opted for re-signing Chris mcLean and letting Agius go as McLean is zero points and Agius would have been 3 points.
Racial issue in footy is something we dont need and I apologies to Mohamad if I misinterpreted his post.

Bignell is in there Stewie and also have to admit that Media Mike has done a reasonable job with this list and can't see any that would not be worthy of a mention, pass my congrats on Osama.

Well done Uncle Sam on your apology.

Both Media Mike and Richie have done a good job. Probably like the balance of Richies a little more. None the less well done.
Probably the only standout was A.Prior. Seems to get a lot of wraps for a full back in a 4 time consecutive premiership team.

How many of these made the SA Country team that played against the amateurs last Saturday?

Correct me if I'm wrong but only the 2 I believe Caramel...
Billy Wells
Phil Bennett

AJ may play at full back in a 4 time premiership team but without him there I would say things would be a little different. didn't someone once say that "the best attack is a good defence"

Can anyone confirm if the Baker boys are talking to each other again?
I heard the sh*t hit the fan some time ago and they had one massive argument and so 'no speakies' became the best option.
