If the Tanunda game from last year is anything to go by then I would say no chance. Some of the more crazier stuff I have seen and the blow back from then on was pretty intense. Safe to say no

Honestly who really cares

Im sure if you head down to the Willaston football club on a Tuesday or Thursday night you could ask and find out.

Honestly though what on earth has this got to do with football or football news?

Ritchie I think it is a good question as I believe Shaun has still severed ties with Les and you will find that he will be able to produce a stellar year for the WFC.I have heard he is as fit as ever and without Les as a distraction don't be surprised if he wins another Schluter Medal.

Freeling supporters must be devestaed about losing Martin back to Hamley.
There appears to have been a mass exodus of fringe A Grade footballers from Freeling this year and that does not look good for Freeling if they get any injuries.

Actually it was Matt that forgot to buy one for Paul, easy mistake to make though...
Freelings biggest problem has always been its fringe players, you are only as strong as your weakest 3-5 players,
and Freeling has had a large drop off when it comes to their weakest 6-7 players last few years.
As for the Bakers, why would anyone care if they are talking or not? surely thats their business.
If Shaun wins the medal this year it will probably be due to footballing ability not whether he has hugged Les in a few months.
Also, Bennett was in Mike's 20 wasnt he? and he is still at Ango to my knowledge so that would be 1.
There were 20 or so blokes from Ango who were unlucky to miss out....
If he does it at the end of the year Ruwoldt will definitely be there, as will Sugars.

Stewie I think Ango will be very competitive again this year and not easybeats as was first thought.Good pick ups and eager to see young Reincke play as he has plenty of potential as a underage player at Centrals..Byster, Zimmerman and imports make a good outfit.Ango will finish higher on the ladder than many anticipate and this is why the loss of harvey and Pech for money must be bitterly disappointing as they would be top 4 with those 2 still palying.

Boundary Rider what are your thoughts on the defection of Martin, barry, shanahan etc from the club?
Massive lost as little depth and now further eroded.-may see Mal obrien, Polly and Kym Hollaway return to play 2's

Uncle Sammy,
The loss of Barry and Martin to Mallala and HB respectively are big losses to the club as they were handy fringe 'A' grade footballers. Add in names like Smith, Shanahan and Ahrens and you have a few more good 'B' graders leaving teh club. Freeling have never really had much depth in the Magoos and this has made players go search for glory somewhere else.
We've got at least six or seven new 'B' grade recruits who all look handy and a few returning from self imposed retirement. So God, I hope we don't see Polly and Co. running around in short shorts, but only time will tell hey!

What are people's thoughts on playing trial matches right up to the last week before the season.

I know as a player i was keen to play and have some match fitness leading into round 1.

Most guys you'll find like playing them, gives them more fitness. Hwne they hurt themselves and miss 3-4 weeks, then you generally get a different answer :-)

Plenty if you were to take off your blinkers!
Nobody wants to see anyone drop out of footy, nor do they want to see a family pulled apart because of 2 brothers not being able to get on together. Surely it's in their best interest on both issues that it be resolved in a positive manner.

Seems you know alot more than most on the subject.

Just going on other peoples views they don't seem to really care. I think it's fair to say caramels your either trying to stir the pot, or trying to buy into something that has absolutely nothing to do with you,me or any other person on this site. Let's stick to the footy talk & rumors and move on.

Reincke making the move to the panthers.... has genuine ability needs a good season under his belt and he'll be a solid contributor in the main grade.
Getting a look at the clearances the donnybrooks and centrals have lost a bit of local depth as well.. names on paper in the off season doesnt mean much but legendary warhorses Nottle and Cotton might have to put retirement on hold for another season to keep the gates ticking over for the weekly entre..
